Quiet, nice views, safe parking

All was perfect!

Great location, parking on spot, very clean, spa, rooms, decorations, facilities. Housekeeping is awesome, reception professional, Food for breakfast was great, the other meals are fit for a fine dining, the prices are high but is worth it. Overall the experience is great, but is a pity that some of the staff are not trained to make it up for this wonderful place.

Some of the staff, like the what I think is a general manager and the headwaiter. The first one patrols the area, but doesn’t help, manage, doesn’t lead. Or maybe is the owner, entitled to behave like a landlord. As for the headwaiter, does not greet, does not smile, and when obvious that he has to assist somehow, the way of addressing to guests is far from hospitality. I have seen police that are more polite than him. Is a gentleman with a blue tie. Usually I don’t pick on specific staff, but this one should not be in that position, clearly. So he has two three waiters running to clear tables and refill the buffet, but the headwaiter is nowhere to be seen helping, that is strange. Normally, who cleans tables should not be also refilling the buffet without washing hands, to avoid cross contamination. There were some ladies, really nice, polite, efficient. The male waiters should be better trained on body language and way of addressing. The spa lady also needs training. Together with some other guests, we never understood her approach, sometimes nice, but sometimes coming and switching off the whirlpool or other equipment in a rude manner. It is need to make appointment with the receptionist for the spa usage, even if you pay the combo room with spa included. There are time that this will be crowded, with lots of children. There are only 14 spa chairs, so they will tell you if it is too busy. The steam room sometimes works sometimes not. The sauna is great, with a salt wall. The swimming pool is also nice.

Staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was good, nice touch with fresh fruits. Spa is nice, I had a very relaxing massage.

First we booked a room in the attic. It was extremely hot in the night, even with window open. We changed for a different room at 1st floor, which was lovely. The worst is the location. Accross the street is a restaurant with live music until very late. In a Saturday, we "enjoyed" their music until 4 a.m. and also some fireworks at midnight. Also, our room had the terrace on top of a fire place, which we learned that is offered as entertainment to tourists, camp fire style. Needless to say, we could not open the window because of the smoke.
