Hotel Regal 1880 - Boutique Hotel in Parcul Central Sinaia

Camera a fost superba, spatioasa si foarte curata, iar micul dejun a fost perfect, cu multe variante absolut toate delicioase: cateva tipuri de branza speciale, masline verzi (le ador), prajiturile foarte bune, totul la superlativ! Iesirea spre parc ofera o super atmosfera mai ales dimineata cand e mai racoare. Ne-am simtit minunat si cu siguranta vom reveni.

Dupa mai multe incercari (ture in jurul parcului) am avut noroc si am gasit un loc de parcare (cu plata - 30 lei/zi, 6 lei/h). Situatia ar fi avut solutii inconfortabile daca nu gaseam.

Beautiful restored building in an excellent location, right at the park with large, bright and airy rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Calm, green view out the windows with clean air. Majestic furniture and decorations that give the feeling of leaving like a king in a medieval castle.

The furniture is classical in style to fit with the medieval "royal" theme around the place, which makes for an exquisite look. However, when getting up close and personal, they appear to be actually old, with the bed mattress perhaps the worst offender which made for a difficult night's sleep and painful back in the morning. The bathroom is large with decent amenities, but of cheap and flimsy quality, while cleanliness left something to be desired. The view out over the park was beautiful, but unfortunately marred by the presence of a kitschy children's amusement area which would have been fine if not for blasting the same powerful base rhythm obsessively over powerful speakers from a very early hour, felt inside with closed windows up to the bones. I realise the hotel has nothing to do with it, but it does make any attempt at rest and relaxation difficult to say the least. Finally, perhaps a temporary but real issue -- there were repeated bear sightings in the park at night, one I actually caught on camera with the police van chasing it. This may be amusing to some, but it does make coming back alone at night a bit of a gamble -- thankfully there is a second entrance on the street above, make sure to use it if returning late!

Recomand acest hotel, a fost o surpriza foarte placuta! Locatia centrala chiar in parc, camerele spatioase si curate, personalul amabil, micul dejun servit la hotel Palace.

Hotelul nu are parcare proprie, dar am gasit un loc in parcarea publica de langa hotel.

Felt a little forlorn. Staff ok but not overly helpful. No lift for luggage. Had to cart it up curving stairs ourselves. No general facilities. Breakfast in nearby hotel.
