Vila Șipot - Casa Arhitecților

Loved staying here, with views of Pelișor Castle from my room and Peleș Castle just a short walk away. Staying on the castle grounds feels like stepping into a fairytale, especially in the evening after the day-trippers have left. The whole experience of the forested grounds and the beautiful castles and buildings made me not want to leave, it was truly magical. I chose a top-floor room with a castle view, and it was spacious, comfortable, and wonderfully quiet. The host provided clear instructions for parking, accessing the property, and collecting the key, making check-in effortless. Dining options at the restaurants next door fulfill all the needs. A fantastic stay that I highly recommend.

Beautiful! Location!

The location feels like stepping back in time. It is so peaceful and authentic! Yet the facilities have been renovated and are up to modern standards. Can’t recommend it enough.

When you have to hit a code on an electric lock in order to enter the building and there is no staff on site, it's not a hotel, in my view. And because the code box was well away from the door handle and the handle was sticky, I couldn't get in. I had walked a mile and a half up a steep hill to get there. Yikes. Fortunately reception worked, so I was able to WhatsApp the proprietor. Oh, the room was comfortable and well-equipped when I finally got in. And it was very close to the palace, which was, of course, closed that day.

Sinaia is beautiful, and the setting is stunning. Of course, the restaurants nearby had closed by the time I got there, so I went to bed without dinner. Hard to like that.
