Pleasant
Central location in typically BELGIAN town, pretty, loads of shops, cafes and restaurants. Easy and cheap parking right by the hotel. Decent restaurant. Friendly and professional staff. Genuinely nice people.
Room is small and impractical. Bathroom is tiny. No traffic noise, but there was some kind of ventilation outside which was crazy noisy and kept me awake.

De ligging was super. De zoon die het hotel verder zet tot de datum van verkoop is super vriendelijk en doet ook héééél goed zijn best om het je zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Toffe gast.
De accommodatie is aan vernieuwing toe.

Empathieloos
Had per ongeluk geboekt op de verkeerde locatie voor 15 jarige zoon die moest doorreizen van gent naar amsterdam en terug, had ipv 19km van gent, 1,9 gedacht te lezen. Ook voor 21h ging niet lukken door werk, mijn schuld... op vraag teruggave geld of eventeel omboeking is er gewoonweg niet gereageerd, je hebt nu 200 euro in je zak gestoken, maar dat is alles behalve langetermijn visie, ik heb 5 min na booking gebeld, je had het zelfs nog niet gezien, al had je gezegd 50/50. Soms vraag een mens zich af waar de empathy nog zit.
Eerst brutaliteit aan telefoon: is 10 min te voet met trein ( ja zal een tiener om 6h smorgens langs straat laten lopen in stad dat hij niet kent) en nog nooit de moeite gedaan om te reageren op een mail.
