On point

Walking distance from Grünwald cable lift. Large garage. Nice furniture - rustic and homey - creating a warm and welcoming ambiance. Well equipped kitchen and ski-room. Breathtaking mountain views from the balcony.

Superb

The hosts Marlene and Eveline were very helpful arranging everything from breakfast, dinner bookings, supplied meals (which were great) and taxis. Parking was also under the hotel which was then easy to access the hotel. They lifts were all within 5 minutes walk. The whole experience was very good due to the hosts

Low service and room quality

Management behaviour was mostly rude. Being kind and polite is the bare minimum a hospitality company can do to make sure the client/customer will return, or at least tell other people they were treated nice. The treatment you get at Hubertus is at absolute minimum. Breakfast buffet has very poor choice. Rooms are old and lacking maintenance. Bathroom was fine but the beds are terribly squeaky. The slippers and the bathrobe are not included - they charge it additionally 5 EUR and 10 EUR per piece. Price for the accommodation is definetly too high for the low service and room quality.  We visit Obertauern minimum once or more times per year and for sure we will never return to Hubertus, 100% do not recommend it.

Very convenient and comfy hotel for great skiing holiday

Wellness was superb, breakfast also very good. The room had a very nice view. Ladies at the reception were very helpful and polite. The basement garage with spacious ski room and lift directly to the rooms was also very convenient - everything was just great for skiing holiday.

Call me lazy but 200 walk to the nearest lift in ski boots was just a litttttle too long and uncomfortable. Maybe I just need to buy better boots. I used my car and changed to the boots at the parking lot :D

Best multi-family vacation ever!

Apparthotel Hubertus is perfectly situated to get you on the slopes first thing. The hotel is very close to one of the main lifts, so it is easy to get started without waiting in lines. The hotel itself is very comfortable. There is a gorgeous lobby area for chatting & reading. There is a cozy bar with the nicest bartender who suggests all sorts of great beers and local drinks. The wellness area has heated waterbeds for recharging after a long day of skiing.

I would love to have an outdoor hot tub / jacuzzi just off the wellness - that would be a very nice addition!
