Modern and pleseant decor. Tea /coffee making facilities in room, BUT plastic cups- not really an issue as the coffee, sugar for one cup each only there on first of 4 days and never replenished !

Restaurant OK but food mediocre and poorly presented (lots of little notices in 4 languages stating ´gluton free´ but very few saying what it actually was, many just left to the imagination), reminiscent of school dinners many years ago. The advertised ´ christmas lunch special buffet ´ was no different to the lunch buffet on the other days.

Great small hotel on the beach front.

Great location right on the front promenade. The rooms are quite small and functional but are great for a few nights stay. The rooms at the front and right side of the hotel looking sea wards have large balconies. The pool is small but perfectly does the job of a quick cool off. The evening we were there, they did a BBQ which was excellent. Parking is available at the public car car 5 minutes away.

Lovely clean hotel in perfect location.

Perfect location!! Right opposite the beach and only 2 streets away from the busy nightlife. McDonald’s only 2 doors down. The hotel was very clean with friendly staff. It’s only a small hotel with 5 floors compared to some of the other high rise ones with 26 floors. The view from the balcony of the beach was amazing so you need to book a sea view room. I’d say it more for the over 50’s and we didn’t see any children so ideal for couples looking for a nice relaxing holiday. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Location was excellent and staff in reception were great

It was advertised as balcony but it was a tiny triangular ledge with a chair. Totally overpriced with no proper outside space to relax. No complimentary water in fridge. Kitchen staff very slow in cleaning tables, had to keep putting dirty plates on neighbouring table.

Far Below the Standards Promised — Fails to Meet Customer Expectations

Review of My Stay Overall, I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff were generally helpful, and I especially appreciated that when my phone charger stopped working, they kindly provided one for me to use for the duration of my holiday, which was very convenient. My favourite part was in the morning and in the evening when you can see the Sun come up and the Sun go down on the ocean it was truly amazing and it was something different. However, there were a few issues that did impact my experience. On one occasion, after returning from the swimming pool without a towel because I had forgotten it, I was asked to wait outside and was physically handled by a staff member, which felt quite inappropriate and upsetting. No apology was offered for this incident, and it left me feeling uncomfortable enough that I initially wanted to leave the hotel. Despite this, I chose to remain for a further three nights, mainly due to the challenges and costs of moving to a different hotel. The room itself was nice, the bed was comfortable, and the dining options were very good, which made my stay easier. There were also some smaller service issues, such as towels not being replaced after housekeeping, requiring me to call reception to request them. Given the price point, I expected a more seamless level of service.

Disappointing Stay – Not as Expected Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel did not meet my expectations, especially given its high rating on Booking.com. While there were a few positives — the room itself was decent, the bed comfortable, and the dining experience pleasant — these were overshadowed by several issues that left me feeling disappointed. The most concerning incident occurred when I returned from the swimming pool without a towel, having forgotten it. Instead of being helped, I was asked to wait outside and was manhandled by a staff member. This was deeply upsetting and completely unacceptable. What made it worse was that no one offered an apology or tried to address how I had been treated, which left me feeling uncomfortable and wanting to leave the hotel altogether. Other service failures continued during my stay. Basic amenities, like towels, were not replaced after housekeeping, and I had to call reception to request them — something I should not have had to do at this price point. The bar was another frustration. Each time I visited, there were long waits, with only one staff member serving and queues moving incredibly slowly. The service felt inattentive, and I eventually stopped bothering to use the bar at all. The combination of these issues — poor service, inadequate staffing, and an incident that made me feel disrespected — means I would not stay at this hotel again. For the money paid, I expected far better, and I do not believe it deserves the “fabulous” rating it currently holds. I would rate it no more than a 5 or 6 out of 10, and I hope management takes steps to improve guest care and professionalism. Kind regards,

Overall, my stay was very enjoyable and the service, for the most part, was excellent. On one particular night, I experienced an issue with my phone not charging. I contacted the front desk, and staff responded immediately. They quickly identified that the problem was with my charger and kindly provided me with a replacement for the remainder of my stay, which I greatly appreciated. However, there was one incident that I found quite upsetting. On returning to the premises after being in the pool without a towel, I was dripping wet and, instead of being offered assistance, I was physically directed to go back outside. This response felt abrupt and inappropriate, and it did leave me quite disturbed. Despite this, I want to emphasize that this was the only negative interaction I had. The rest of the staff were polite and accommodating. For instance, on a separate day when towels were mistakenly not replaced in my room, the issue was promptly resolved after I raised it with reception. The breakfast was excellent, and I consistently had restful nights. The overall environment and hospitality made it a pleasant stay. While I did not feel it was appropriate to give the staff an “exceptional” rating due to the one negative incident, I have given them the next highest rating, as they demonstrated strong service throughout. There is definitely room for improvement in handling guest concerns with empathy, but I would still recommend this place to others. It is, on the whole, a brilliant place to stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay — the room was comfortable, spotlessly clean thanks to the housekeeping team, and I had a restful night's sleep. The hotel maintains a high standard of professionalism which I appreciated. However, I did feel that the front desk staff could be a bit more welcoming. On several occasions, they appeared more focused on their computer screens than on acknowledging guests entering the lobby. A simple greeting or eye contact would go a long way in making guests feel noticed and valued. Overall, it was a very good experience, and with a small improvement in guest engagement at reception, it could easily be outstanding.

For a 4* hotel some of the room facilities were very basic and the fixtures and fittings grubby/rusty/broken/dated. The lighting in the room isn't soft, everything is cool/bright, so it lacks any ambiance for comfortable reading. The beds were quite hard, not very comfy.
