It’s opposite to La Catho and most of the places are within walking distance.
Cleanliness can be improved.

Very good location for a conference at the nearby Catholic University. Possibility of making fresh coffee in the room (capsules available). Also possible to cater for oneself (but no need to do so on a short stay). Good restaurants within walking distance. Despite self-catering breakfast served and complementary coffee/tea available during day. Comfortable room and bed. There is a bus to both Lille train stations.
Not ideal location for sight-seeing, but this wasn‘t the main purpose of my stay.

great location for our purposes. simple check in and check out
parking has to be booked in advance and is chargeable. 12 euros. cost not an issue but would like to have known in advance. parking in proximity is currently free however. although due to change in spring
