Lovely Alagna hotel

Lovely hotel, nice big rooms, very helpful staff and a lovely dinner in the restaurant. Less than five minutes walk to the lift station.

Excellent location in the centre of town. Stylish hotel and welcoming staff. The restaurant was closed so a table in the nearby and first rate Zam Tachji was booked for us - after aperitifs in the excellent An Bachsee Wi wine bar. This morning, we received excellent information about the weather and snow conditions on our walk to Rifugio Barba Ferrero.

It’s a quiet season so I guess the breakfast isn’t their usual fayre. Coffee was great. Bread for toast could have been better and a better selection of dried meats. No eggs were available when I stayed.

The hotel is well located but is very basic. The room is comfortable but needs improvement with cleaning. Only had a very limited supply of toiletries. More of a 2-star rather than a 3-star hotel. The staff was helpful and polite.

Room did not have a fridge. Website implied restaurant, but restaurant was closed in the evening for month of September, so this was disappointing.

The posh alternative! Beautiful boutique hotel, exuding quality and comfort. Fantastic breakfast, great staff. Restaurant was closed in evenings however.

We had been before so disappointed the restaurant was shut in evenings.

Disappointing.

Nice staff

We paid 4-star, but they have outsourced us to a different place that I rented before for half the price. On top of that, we did not get a twin room, but a double, and my mate had to sleep on a camping bed - that's not on, when you are paying 4-star money for the place. Especially the night before a major race, when a good nights sleep is essential.

A very relaxing and comfortable stay.

Excellent location as feel in the heart of the village. Convenient boot room close to the lift, so no problem walking a little way. Very good evening dining in the restaurant with lovely choice of local wines. Caring staff who are very welcoming and helpful. High standards of cleanliness and throughout the hotel.

Some fresh fruit salad and more interesting pastries would be a nice addition to the breakfast buffet.

Beautiful mountain village; shame about the hotel management

Central location was great - 5-10 minutes walk to the lift. Plenty of restaurants in the town - but book at the weekends Just enough apre-ski. It's not Austria but it's very pleasant and prices are reasonable. The "An Bacher Wi" winebar and the "Cafe della Guide" are spot on!

The hotel was overpriced. Facilities were minimal, breakfast was minimal. Extra charges for the sauna, boot room, cooked breakfast were not welcome. The room was nice but needs a blackout curtain. Nice shower but no bath Restaurant on site was hardly open and had poor reputation so we avoided! Overall, it looks like management have spent money on making the place look nice for the brochure photos but no real substance. I would only recommend this place if the price was lower

Superb

Excellent location - right in the center of the village with easy access to restaurants and the ski lift. One huge advantage is the ski storage located just next to lifts, could not be more convenient. Staff delightful, room spacious and clean, shower powerful and hot!

La posizione è centralissima, gli ambienti curati e puliti, lo staff cordiale e simpatico, la cucina del ristorante deliziosa.

Il prezzo delle cene...forse un po' alto ma comunque era tutto ottimo.

Le dimensioni della camera erano eccezionali. Inoltre la disponibilità dello staff è stata fuori dal comune. Ci è stato eccezionalmente permesso di ricoverare l'attrezzatura da sci in un luogo fuori dall'albego a pochi metri dalla partenza della teleferica e ciò ha notevolmente ridotto la difficoltà legata all'orario. A titolo di suggerimento, riteniamo, inoltre, che esercitare pressione (eventualmente congiuntamente alla società delle guide alpine di Alagna), sull'organizzazione incaricata della gestione della teleferica affinché preveda una sessione (anche solo 20/30 minuti) di apertura appositamente anticipata ad orari compatibili con l'attività alpinistica primaverile/estiva potrebbe essere propedeutico per attirare ed incrementare il turismo alpinistico nazionale ed internazionale, così importante per una cittadina che è una dei soli due punti d'ingresso alle numerose e ambitissime vette del massiccio del Monte Rosa.

L'orario standard della colazione era praticamente incompatibile con la prima partenza della teleferica per salire in quota (peraltro già di suo oltremodo tardivo per la stagione). Abbiamo potuto rispettare l'orario di partenza dell'escursione solo per l'eccezionale gentilezza e disponibilità dello staff. Suggeramo di modificare gli orari in funzione della stagione, anticipandoli d'estate ed posticipandoli d'inverno.

Mysigt, välkomnande och helt enkelt perfekt.

Perfekt läge mitt i byn och med floden på baksidan. Supertrevlig personal som är mycket hjälpsam. Ett spa med bastu och pool som vi hade helt för oss själva.

Allt var perfekt.
