Like stepping back in time.

The apartment felt like being in a another century, with antique furnishings and a beautifully painted (and extremely high!) bedroom ceiling. The location was fantastic, in the historic district with restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores close by and right near where the bus from Florence stops. The manager, Michelle, was extremely helpful (she met us at the bus!) and attentive to our needs.

An incredible stay here.

The location was superb. The apartment in a historic building, and quiet yet within easy access of amenities and key sights. Directions were clear. And both owner Melissa and manager Michelle were warm, welcoming and simply superb. They were extremely helpful, available and proactive with suggestions. Highly recommended.

the Host was the most lovely and helpful. Location at the heart of city. Room especially bedroom was very spacious and with high and painted ceiling - I am fan of heritage buildings so it was my place:) I wish I had more time to spend there:)

Old world charm but needs upgrading of some equipment.

Historic property has its charm even if it means you miss a few modern touches. The property manager onsite is fantastic - she was the best part of the entire rental experience, which I would have rated considerably lower. Above and Beyond is her approach to customer satisfaction.

The Air Conditioning was temperamental and there is only one unit in the entire apartment, which is hardly sufficient. The lighting was also way too dim in every room; it felt like the owner was going for the feeling of candle light, but it’s probably just being cheap on bulbs to save on electricity.

One of the most remarkable places I've ever stayed. Large appartment in style of the 500 years old building, with matching furniture. Like being in a museum. Quite, close to the city centre, free parking nearby, very helpfull staff and owner. If and when back in beautiful Siena I know where to stay.

Cara Melissa, Residenze d’Epoca has been on outstanding choice during our time in Siena. Michelle’s welcome was so warming , reassuring and informative. First impressions have an impact. Michelle’s communication was immediate, we always knew she was there for any guidance and suggestions re Siena. Michelle’s English was excellent - which helped a-lot for her and her Italian for my wife! The 100% fully secured , elevator entrance, then the ‘wow’ factor greeted us to our sumptuous apartment. Centuries old, historic home with exquisitely congruent furnishings and decor. Ultra tall ceilings and generous space. The large bed and pillows very comfortable and the apartment cooled with 2 air cons. The morning ritual of opening shutters from the 4th floor is a timeless experience. Lounge/dining room space is huge, with incredibly comfortable sitting options. We have stayed in 12 cities in Europe - and this is our best experience. Thank you warmly both Melissa and Michelle. Outstandingly magnificent accommodation.

Stayed in the Imperial Suite during a romantic trip to Sienna, we couldn't have picked a more magnificent place to stay. The sheer grandeur of this place is mind-boggling. You genuinely feel like you're staying in a period palace... you half expect to see 18th Century nobility walk by! Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and very spacious, an excellent kitchen (should you need such a thing), a bottle of fizz to enjoy, great location, a real taste of regency Italy done to such quality you'll struggle to find anything as good anywhere. Special mention to the ceilings, just a magnificent place.

Beautiful spot and location in Siena!

I loved this place! My only complaint is that the listing makes it seem like you see the duomo from the room and you definitely do not. But everything else was great. Super comfy beds, great decor and location. It was easy to check in and I would go back for a night or two again!

Again, I really thought we'd have a view of the duomo, but whatever, it's a ten minute walk away and the place is super cute!

Spacious and beautiful apartment. Excellent location.

There was nothing to hang clothes on after using the washing machine. A drying rack would be good. Also no shampoo or conditioner provided and only one tea bag was provided.

Advertised as AC but this was on the top floor and only one unit that only server the living room. Main bedroom did not have air and was sweltering all night. Had a lift but still had 2 flights of stairs. Very disappointing.

The location was excellent with easy walks to main tourist attractions and the apartment so comfortable. Melissa and Michelle was so helpful with recommendations and making restaurant reservations for us.

A beautiful and historic hotel to pair with your adventures in a beautiful and historic city.

One of the most unique hotels I've had the privilege of staying in. The location to all the major sites of Siena couldn't be better, and Melissa, Michelle, and team were wonderful to communicate with and offered plenty of recommendations.

No negatives to report, just make sure you know what you're booking and set your expectations accordingly. (It's a 500 year old building!)

It was our most expensive accomodation on our trip. I was attracted by the antiquity of the property

No breakfast included., but cafés were just outside. The location is excellent, just by the bus station, 20 minutes walk to the train station.

The bathroom needs a complete update, especially the shower. The bed linen was sheets and blanket . It needs a modern twist with a duvet and high quality linen.

Michelle was fantastic as the host. Friendly accessable, informative. The appartment was truly worth every penny for the experience, its location and security. Used valet parking option and although never used the car between arriving and leaving we felt it was good value.

Our stay at the Palazzo was outstanding!

The apartment was spacious and nicely decorated. My husband and I were celebrating our birthdays and the nice bottle of champagne waiting for us at the apartment was perfect for the occasion. We felt like royalty staying at this beautiful Palazzo. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I highly recommend it. I would love to stay there again.

Super unique beautiful perfectly located flat in a spectacular town

This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to stay at a historical family home in a fantastic location in Siena. We absolutely loved our stay in Siena and this flat made it even more enjoyable with a comfortable kitchen and beds. There were lots of special touches that made it unique. We especially appreciated the help we got before and during the trip with various questions & needs (e.g., borrowing umbrellas). Gracie mille!

The shower is unusual and those who are very rigid or conventional will need to open their minds. It is perfectly functional though!

A fabulous place to stay in Sienna

The apartment was very spacious and beautifully decorated, with very a comfortable bed and sofas. Being on the 4th floor, it was great to have a lift for 3 of the 4 floors. The location is ideal, within easy walking distance of everything Sienna has to offer. There are great cafes and restaurants right outside and lots more in close vicinity. The car parking service was great - we could drop off our bags and then a driver parked our car until we needed it.

Being next to one of the city's main bus stops, the noise from people coming and going there was a bit obtrusive later on weekend evenings, but stopped at around mid-night so was acceptable.

Go back in time

the rooms are absolutely gorgeous with all the incredible artwork on the floors, ceiling and walls. the location was so convenient to everything. they had valet service if you have a car, which I highly recommend you use because otherwise parking is a nightmare. they provided a small fridge and water for us.

the a/c struggled to keep the room cool and was kind of loud. we only got one set of towels for the 3 nights stay. The springs in the sofa may need to get replaced. we had a good laugh when we sat on it and sank way down to the floor.

We loved the charm of the building and the interior furnishings. The staff was super helpful to us, making memorable dinner reservations, and taking care of our car.

I liked the out of the way location. Especially since I was there during Il Palio.

Rooms were antiquated. And not very comfortable. No AC in the bedroom. So I slept in the living room on a couch as thats where the AC wall unit was

It isn’t very practical, it’s more oriented to give you the impression of a beautiful ancient apartment than to make your life easy and comfortable. Moreover among the enormous amounts of pictures, chairs and objects of the most heterogeneous nature, some are of good taste and quality while others definitively are not.
