Maroon & Moss Residence

Where do we even begin?! Maroon & Moss Budapest was, without a doubt, one of the most incredible places we've ever stayed! If we could give it more than five stars, we would in a heartbeat! From the moment we stepped inside, we were absolutely amazed. The apartments are breathtakingly beautiful, impeccably clean, and filled with thoughtful details. You can feel the love, passion, and care poured into every corner. It's not just somewhere to stay; it's a place that instantly makes you feel welcomed, relaxed, and completely at home. Honestly, we might have felt even better than at home! And the QUALITY! Everything feels genuinely premium, from the furniture and finishes to the smallest details. Nothing feels cheap, generic, or chosen simply because it's an Airbnb. Quite the opposite: every piece feels carefully selected, beautifully made, and wonderfully luxurious. It's like staying in a stunning, thoughtfully curated home, where no corners have been cut. We also HAVE to mention the beds! Unbelievably comfortable! The mattresses, pillows, and bedding were so wonderful that we had some of the best sleep we've ever had while traveling. Getting out of bed was genuinely the hardest part! But the true magic of Maroon & Moss is the hospitality. Our host was exceptionally kind, warm, thoughtful, and always available to help. We felt genuinely cared for, not just welcomed as guests. It's so rare to experience such heartfelt hospitality, and it meant more to us than we can express. Some places are simply part of a trip. Maroon & Moss is one of the reasons we'd come back to Budapest. It will ALWAYS be our first choice, every single time, without hesitation. We recommend it wholeheartedly to everyone visiting Budapest. It's the kind of place you keep thinking about long after checking out, and one you wish you never had to leave! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for an unforgettable stay.

Absolutely nothing! If anything, the only thing we didn't like was having to leave! Everything was beyond perfect, and we genuinely couldn't find a single thing we would change. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautifully decorated, characterful building in a fabulous location. Everything you need for a stay. Lots of hot water, comfy beds, brilliant value.

The lounge area would benefit from a couple more chairs so there is enough room for 4 people to sit.

Spacious and convenient

Not enough furniture to put your things.

The room was amazing, very clean and so comfy. bed was so soft and comfy. exactly want we wanted for just a nice room to stay.

the shower was quite small and i’m only short however was struggling to not bang into the sides. the location was good , about a 25 min walk from the centre and 35 mins from the danube bank, near the boats.
