Flow Hostel

Looks new, well maintained and clean hostel. Great if you are on budget. I just needed a bed for the night so booked it but it's really well looked after. They have kitchen and lounge and plenty of other stuffs I did not explore much, Good value for money. Everything was spotless clean that's all I wanted. Staff is professional.

clean and big dorm room, nice kitchen and facilities

Place was nice, love having a curtain on my bunk, big kitchen with lots of stuff to use, lots of toilets and showers, welcoming staff, super central location so close to the river, easy to use aircon, but only thing was the the place had a strange smell, not particularly bad but not great either (though it was strongest in the kitchen and my room was right next to the kitchen so could have something to do what was cooking the day I stayed).

Strengths Flow Spaces offers genuinely warm hospitality and comfortable accommodations. The reception staff are attentive and helpful—a standout example being when Ábel prepared a homemade pasta dish for guests as a courtesy gesture. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds, making for a restful stay. Significant Concerns Construction Disruptions The hostel is undergoing refurbishment, but there's no adequate containment of dust, fumes, and welding noise. These spill freely into guest areas. Worse, the construction workers show little regard for guests, making it uncomfortable to navigate shared spaces. Most problematically, there is no disclosure of ongoing construction during the booking process or anywhere on the hostel's website or premises. At minimum, a prominent apology notice should inform arriving guests. Privacy Issues The smoking area occupies an external balcony directly adjacent to guest room windows. This creates multiple problems: smoke drifts into rooms, and guests using the space for social gatherings—drinking, smoking, and loud conversation—have a clear sightline directly into bedrooms. There's virtually no privacy for occupants. Verdict Flow Spaces has the foundation of a good hostel with friendly staff and decent facilities, but these operational oversights significantly undermine the guest experience. The lack of transparency about construction and the poorly designed smoking area suggest management hasn't prioritized guest comfort and privacy. These issues need addressing before the hostel can deliver the experience its hospitality suggests it's capable of providing.
