An average experience

The hotel was nice and clean, the room of a decent size though lacking any good storage. It was good to see activities like pool and foosball and having a Pool was a bit of a bonus though a little chilly and a bit of a walk away from the hotel

They put us in a separate room to dine, which was quite a cold lower class looking room. The food was a disappointment, i expected much better for an Italian stay. They did not replenish tea, coffee or milk each day meaning multiple trips to the bar to get some (this is the basics) The bathroom was very tired looking

Pool is nice, although it could be warmer. Sauna was great. The bar with pool game is very attractive

Dinner was ok, I expected better: little choice of fresh bread, lots of dressing on main dishes, desserts kind of heavy and too sweet (not an Italian authentic style, but probably this is done on purpose to meet the expectations of German guests)

I found the propriety on booking and got impressed by the view and places around. It had a very nice nice bar and very good breakfast, with many options and quality products. The private parking is also a big plus, even if it is extra payment.

There were a few issues with the room which made our stay a bit unpleasant. 1. No internet. I know you don’t necessarily go on vacation to stay on the internet, but you do need it for various purposes, especially if you are working. There is technically a free WiFi connection, but which doesn’t work. You would expect that in 2024, at a 4 star hotel, to have great high speed internet, we didn’t have any. I had to make hotspot from my phone and being on roaming it will cost me nicely. But I had to do it because of my job and that really was an inconvenience. 2. The beds. The beds were really hard and uncomfortable. We asked at the reception if they can help us and they did put an extra blanket which made the bed a bit better. But for the money the hotel asks and for a presumed 4 star hotel, you would expect 4 star conditions. 3. The bathroom. It was quite old and the shower unpractical. It all worked, sure. But again, if you are claiming it’s a 4 star hotel, you would have a different expectation.

We had a great time -- hiking, biking, swimming in Lake Garda and enjoying the various options.

The staff were very helpful. We managed to use most of the facilities -- sauna, pools, fussball table, etc. and found everything very convenient and a pleasure to experience during our stay. Parking was great -- in the garage below the hotel. Hiking and biking were wonderful -- up onto the nearby mountain and down to Lake Garda (Nago-Torbole and Riva Dal Garda).

Was surprised that we were charged full price for our drinks upon checkout -- despite having purchased them during the Happy Hour discount rates.

a nice surprise

When we arrived the receptionist offered us a free room upgrade, this was a very nice surprise. We were put in the junior suite which has a lot of room and a gorgeous view from the balcony. the hotel bar also offers a free complementary drink and everyday there was a very good offer on aperitifs the region is very beautiful. I do recommend going by car because the hotel is not close to the beach.

Excellent hotel with amazing pool

Hotel located at a less touristic part of town, not near the lake but very close by by car. I liked the location because it was quiet. Hotel staff very friendly, specifically their egyptian staff who was exceptionally kind and helpful. Rooms are not big but very clean, pool is amazing and the breakfast was really excellent!

The only downside is the live music till 23:00 i think it was twice a week.

Fantastic stay at Continental Hotel

We liked the hotel so much. Our room was firstly upgraded (we don’t know why we had that pleasure) and it was super nice. The breakfast was super good and delicious. To reach the pool you have to walk a little bite outside the hotel (1 minute) it’s not really a problem and the pool area is beautiful! Nice view and nice plants there. All in all we enjoyed our stay 100%

Tolle Lage, freundliches Personal

Lage super ruhig. Parkplätze immer vorhanden. Weiter oben beim Hotel gibt es weitere Parkplätze im Freien. Frühstück war in Ordnung. Die Pool Bar war toll. Man konnte auch kleine Snacks bestellen. Personal sehr freundlich.

Das Service Abends an der Bar war so gut wie nicht vorhanden. Ich denke, man hat mit dem Dinner im Restaurant viel zu tun gehabt. Da wurde mal schnell auf die Bar vergessen.

Un Hotel al que seguramente volveré.

El personal de servicio es Excelente . Todos muy Gentiles . Instalacion Impecable. Piscina al abierto grande y muy bien diseñada. Bar en la Piscina completamente surtido , Bar al exterior del Hotel funcionante con un espectaculo cada dia. Todo muy bien surtido con todo tipo de Licores , Vinos , Cocteles.

Solo que por dos noches me servian la Cena en el BAR y no en el Restaurante por problemas de capacidad. Y el Entrante BUFFET tenia que ir a seleccionarlo al restaurante.

Frühstück war vielfältig, allerdings gab es zu den "Stoßzeiten" oft lehre Teller. Die Zimmer sind sauber aber in die Jahre gekommen. Das Abendessen war prima.

Nicht überwältigend

Die Lage in Nago war sehr angenehm (schöne Abendspaziergänge möglich!), wenngleich die Anfahrt zum kostenlosen, aber begrenzten Parkplatz sehr eng ist. Besonders der Pool im Garten oberhalb des Hotels (angrenzend an den Parkplatz) ist eine Oase der Ruhe! Es gab ausreichend Liegen - auch im Schatten! Zimmergröße und -ausstattung waren gut! Als Familie kann man zwei verknüpte DZ buchen. Leider sind die Betten sehr kurz, die Matratzen hart und die Kissen aus einer Art steifem Memory Foam. Die Lüftung (nicht Klimaanlage) war nachts sehr laut; insgesamt hört man auch viel von seinen Nachbarn. Es gab einen kleinen, aber ausreichenden Balkon, der in unserem Fall Richtung Garten ging! Vom Indoorpool wehte allerdings ab und an ein starker Chlorgeruch herauf. Die Badlüftung existierte in unseren Zimmern nicht wirklich, so dass die Handtücher immer zum Wechseln gegeben werden mussten. Es wäre auch praktisch gewesen, wenn es einen Kofferwagen gegeben hätte, allerdings sind die Gänge dafür zu eng und es stehen auch immer Reinigungswägen im Weg. Was wir toll fanden, war die Trentino Card, mit der man viele Dinge (im Trentino, d.h. auch in Riva) umsonst oder vergünstigt machen kann. Allerdings muss man nach dieser Gästekarte aktiv fragen! Insgesamt muss man sagen, dass das Hotel für den Preis ok war!

Wir hatten uns sehr aufs Frühstück gefreut, doch leider hat es unsere Erwartungen nicht erfüllt. Das Essen war in Ordnung, wenngleich die Pfanne mit dem gebratenen Speck meist leer war. Auch auf Nachfrage hat es meist sehr lange gedauert, bis die Pfanne befüllt wurde. Die Müsli-Auswahl ist sehr begrenzt. Beschriftungen (für Allergiker) Mangelware. Was allerdings unseren Urlaub am meisten getrübt hat, war die Gesamtsituation des Speisesaals. Die Bestuhlung ist eng und chaotisch, so dass man sich immer neu einen Weg von A nach B suchen muss. Hat man so wie wir kein Abendessen gebucht, steht man jeden Morgen erneut vor mehreren (!) Kellnern, die zum Teil unfreundlich und zum Teil einfach nur planlos sind, weil sie nicht wissen, wo sie einen Platz für einen finden sollen - trotz noch fast leerem Speisesaal. Letztendlich saßen wir zu viert - bis auf ein einziges Mal - an einem Tisch für 2 (maximal 3) Personen, mal im zugigen Eingangsbereich oder direkt neben dem Kaffeeautomaten. Im Übrigen hätte uns die Gesamtatmosphäre des Speisesaals auch mit einem ordentlichen Platz für ein genussvolles Abendesssen kaum zugesagt!
