arrived as nornal with my 2 grandaughters, who were chatting to reception staff before I even got there myself. Every thing was as expected as we have been there 7 or 8 times, every thing was clean and rooms have ample space for familys. Great pool, clean and good lockers, not over crowded. Girls enjoyed golf putting and the nature area and walk below formal gardens. Didnt have evening meal as girls like to eat about half 4 to 5pm , but breakfast could not have been better, with some much choice and option 5* plus. Having used this place before I knew there was NO air con in the bed rooms and this visit co-incided with the bank holiday HEAT WAVE but this didnt retract from our enjoyment. The best thing about hotel id without doubt THE STAFF. so friendly, polite, helpful and most of all they have time for the guest********* To add one other thing My wife and I do not play and never have PLAYED GOLF so dont think you would not enjoy Breadsall Priory or as my grandaughers call it THE CASTLE because of its apperance to them..

We booked this as a belated Christmas present to each other. Hotel is delightful, clean and very old and traditional. The food in the restaurant was excellent, plenty of dishes and reasonably priced. Breakfast had lots of choice, hot and cold was on the menu. The pool and spa area were lovely, very clean and the gym was exceptional, my partner said one of the best. Our king size room was very spacious and the bed was so comfy. The grounds are well kept and the staff are very polite and welcoming. We will definitely be going back.
