Spotlessy clean, wonderful view, poor breakfast

Seafront. Spotlessly clean.

Our apartment was equipped with new entrance door, windows and modern sanitary ware. On the other hand, whole forniture, flooring and wall covering were old styled and need to be replaced. Furthermore, the mattress was uncomfortable. Poor breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay very much - we should have booked for another week!

The hotel is situated right on the beach. The breakfast was delicious. The view from our balcony was superb. The kitchenette was a bonus so we could prepare our own meals. Another plus was the air conditioning. We also enjoyed the hotel's heated pool at no extra cost.

The hotel isn't close to restaurants other than the expensive one in the hotel that one had to book for in advance. The other restaurant close by was only open on weekends and then it was fully booked. The kiosk on the beach had a limited menu.

Really nice stay!

Amazing location in front of Gallinara Island, very dog friendly, spacious flat with all we needed for the stay and reasonable breakfast included. The staff has been helpful and friendly.

Despite the resort being dog friendly, the beach is not accessible with pets between 8am and 8pm. Said this the rule is dictated from the authorities and not specific to the resort but required some searching for a dog accessible beach (few available in the surrounding)

A Visit to Paradise

Very nice big room with high ceilings, big windows. Very clean. Complete and well equipped kitchen. Nice bathroom with good walk-in shower. Ample and tasty breakfast with a very sweet and smiley attendant. Very well maintained building on a beautiful beach with great view. The restaurant located in the hotel is excellent and first class.

The Italian pillows were very flat and hard. Would have appreciated fluffier pillows.

Restful beachfront holiday with a great view

The location is great, just on the beach, and virtually all the rooms have a view of the sea, including the iconic turtle-shaped Gallinara Island. The staff were very nice and helpful and the hotel is very dog-friendly. Excellent cleaning service. Tip: ask the reception for a free bus ticket on the day of your arrival, this can save you a bit of cash if you plan to visit other nearby towns like Alassio or Andora and don't intend to drive.

We were a bit less impressed by the extra charges for sun beds both on the beach (with prices ranging from 19 to 28 euros per day!) and at the swimming pool (less pricy but it seemed unusual to us that there would be a charge at all).

Hotel was on the beach

Very expensive sunbeds on the beach, there was a trail beside the hotel which made noise, parking was difficult, hard beds. You have to order your breakfast in the evening but you didn't get what you ordered.,

An escape to the sea.

We loved being right on the beach with beautiful views. Great not being near traffic. Enjoyed breakfast on the terrace looking at the sea. VERY clean and comfortable. Great value.

Great place to stay to explore Liguria and relax in the sun

Splendid large flat with beautiful balcony overlooking the beach. Hotel is right on the beach and also has a large swimming pool with sunbeds. Breakfast was to order in advance, chosing a time slot and everything delivered promptly on a tray. The bed was made and bathroom cleaned every morning.

The access to the beach, but it is full of stones, so bring shoes to enter into the water.

The extra charge for chairs and laying chairs in the beach when there were almost no guests. The price of the hotel is high enough to offer that service to the guest, at least in low season. The rooms are rather old and the shower was not closing properly.

amazing family vacation

The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were traveling with a 1yr old and a 6yr old and they were treated with a lot of patience and kindness. The pool area is great for kids, and the lifeguard made the kids feel welcome. In front of the Hotel is a pebble beach, very clear water and always lifeguards on duty. the Restaurant in the Hotel is amazing for seafood and due to its popularity needs to be booked well in advance. The historic Old town of Albenga is about a 15 min walk away, with many entertainment and food options. We look forward to visiting again!

Parking is a bit painful if you have a large car.

Just what I needed a night on the beach, swim and sounds of the sea and will return for sure.

I really enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evening, wonderful view, the sounds of the sea on the beach all night long was very relaxing, really enjoyed being able to leave the large window open all night as there was a Mosquito screen. Having breakfast bought to the room was a treat and much appreciated.

Only one thing I did not realise was that the restaurant was closed that night and one nearby was already fully booked. But not a problem got takeaway and enjoyed that on the balcony.

Nur der Strand und das Meer sind schön

Wir hatten einen Caravan am Strand gebucht. Der Ausblick war wunderschön direkt am Wasser. Es war alles ordentlich und sauber.

Der Caravan war sehr alt und kaputt. Viele Fenster nicht dicht. Es führt direkt eine laute Eisenbahnstrecke vorbei. Das Firmenschild ist verblichen und kaum sichtbar. Die Rolläden waren defekt.
