The home was in an extremely convenient location: within a few minutes walk you can be at the river side (ferries to the beaches), restaurants, small supermarket, pastelarias, cafes or the Mercado Municipal. The accommodation was spotlessly clean throughout and very well-equipped: for example, it was possible to make a complete meal using the extensive kitchen facilities. We also appreciated that basic ingredients (coffee, tea, olive oil, vinegar, salt, etc) were already supplied or had been left by previous guests. The owner's hand-drawn "map" of the layout of the accommodation was lovely and useful: be aware that it is 2 flights of stairs from the living/ kitchen space to the roof terrace. The roof terrace was very pleasant, though it offered little opportunity for views to the sea or town.

I realise that this is not something over which the property owner has control, but the immediate area around the accommodation was a "mixed bag", with some parts rather run down, while others showed lots of evidence of refurbishment/ renovation. Be aware of biting insects, such as mosquitos, especially in the evenings. I forgot to apply repellent on one evening and I became their dinner as I ate my dinner.

Wunderschönes komplettes Haus. Sehr schön und authentisch eingerichtet. Tolle Terrasse zum verweilen. Vermieterin war immer erreichbar und sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit

Este apartamento es un 10 en todos los sentidos. Es la segunda vez que repetimos y no será la última. Es cómodo, limpio, perfecta ubicación, etc.

This lovely little Portugese house had everything you need and more. The location is perfect and convenient. Everything was perfect and the host went out of his way to help and provide exceptional service. Will always recommend this property to my friends and family.
