Ideale per un breve periodo, con Michel e Hélène che come padroni di casa sono due gioielli, abbiamo trovato la stanza veramente pulita e anche gli spazi sono ben sfruttati. I servizi sono nuovi e di alta qualità, avevamo a disposizione anche un ampio terrazzo e il posto auto interno appena sotto l'accesso alla camera. Non abbiamo avuto grandi complicazioni a trovare la casa, in quanto appena arrivati (nonostante fossimo leggermente oltre l'orario massimo di check in) Michel ci è venuto qualche metro incontro per mostrarci l'ingresso.

La scala di bambù presente in terrazzo ci ha aiutati a stendere i costumi e piccole cose (c'è da dire che non ho chiesto se potessimo avere un piccolo stendino). Il materasso l'abbiamo trovato leggermente duro ma quello dipende anche da come si è abituati!

L’appartamento ha superato ogni aspettativa, immerso nella natura con vista mozzafiato. Posizione eccellente a 10 minuti di macchina da St. Floirent. Pulitissimo e dotato di tutti i comfort.

We mainly liked the location of the house. It has a 10+ km view on the valley and bay of St Florence with many boats and forested and maquis covered mountais. Beautiful sunsets as well. See photos. Some old oaks give a natural shadow on the terrace most of the day. The house is modern with a well equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed. Oletta is one of many idyllic villages and the valley is simply beautiful and has a high variability of landscapes. The location is perfect to visit highlights of this part of the island. We really liked the harbour town of St Florence with great restaurants, some very beautiful beaches (some via boat connections, book a few days ahead!), the rough west coast of Cap Corse and Bastia town. We also did a few wine tastings as the valley seems to have the best wine houses of the island (in and around Patrimonio).

The terrace faces West, and it is difficult to cover the sun between 6 and 8 pm. On very hot summer days like we had, it is too hot to sit outside those hours (only).
