A good place to stay.

The Hotel is situated about 5 minutes from the ferry port, albeit up steep steps/slopes. Hotel staff are friendly. My room was quiet, with sea views, and generally comfortable. Storage adequate. Breakfast good.

The shower was very powerful but as staff appreciate, unless you are careful, water can spill over into the bathroom and even into the bedroom. Wi Fi worked on my tablet but not on my mobile.

Quiet spot with a view

Good, quiet location atop the harbor, a few minutes walk to downtown. Sparsely available staff. No parking at the hotel, but available in the area. Comfy bed.

charming hotel in a great location

the location was great, very close to the ferry port and to town. the family bedroom was nicely decorated and perfect for a family of 3 plus a baby. the breakfast was fantastic in a tranquil room.

there was sand all over the bedsheet when we arrived- which were changed when we asked to. no kettle in the room- would have been nice!

An impressive small hotel in a quiet location overlooking Le Palais port and town.

A very comfortable room with a view overlooking the port of Le Palais. Beautifully decorated through out the hotel. Modern shower room. In a quiet location. An exceptional breakfast, with mainly organic , local produce. Plenty of variety each day. The staff were helpful and friendly. 10 minute walk to port and all commerces. Restaurants and bars all within walking distance.

Situated on the top of a hill which makes it more difficult if, like me you have mobility problems. However the views made up for it and it was good exercise for me!! Absolutely no problem for younger, fitter people!!

A modest but delightful hotel in a beautiful place. It's one of my favourites.

Simple but comfortable room with wonderful view of the little harbour at Le Palais. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is great, one of the best ever in France.

Nice to have a seating area on the ground floor. Also, it would be good to have cold water available when breakfast room is locked.

great location, near to the port central town but on the calm side so just perfect! the room is small but well set up front desk lady is helpful and friendly

if I have to, the only thing is that the towels were not changed for the second day (the room is well cleaned btw) maybe we should have asked for it specifically. but that’s fine, we didn’t report it to the front desk because we only stayed for 2 nights.

Great location. View on the harbor. Clean (family) room and well decorated. Confortable beds.

Room too small for 4 guests — no storage space, no power outlet.. extra bed not comfortable. Self-checkin. No staff on site.

Lovely simple hotel in a lovely place

Good room for friends sharing (separate sleeping areas), wonderful view over the port, good bathroom and shower. Quiet and comfortable. Simply but nicely furnished. Excellent buffet breakfast. Nice staff.

No lobby or seating area near reception except breakfast rooom.

Excellent location, great value!

Location was great, breakfast very good. I like that they allow you to leave off bags and come back and sit on the terrace or use the bathroom after check-out. Very friendly. Easy check-in with a wide check-in time range.

My only complaint is there was only one plug in the whole room. I'm only one person and I need at least two, and one by the bed!

Our stay at hotel Vauban

Location, spacious room. Allthough the view was at the garden, we could also see the sea from aside. Breakfast good and luckily we always had parking space allthough there were only 3 car spaces available. We would definitely come back!

The smell of the bath towels could be a bit better (a bit of vinaigre smell) but that’s just a detail

Pleasant

The views were wonderful and the room and bathroom were very spacious and new. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all questions regarding the surroundings and the boats.

They didn't have the room available until 3pm the day I arrived, which I thought was a bit late. Two rooms are on street level, which can be a bit uncomfortable with passersby. And there is a slope to get to the property if you walk!

Hotel très sympathique idéalement placé pour un séjour sur Belle-île avec balades en vélo et à pied

Magnifique vue sur l'océan. Personnel très charmant , chambre petite mais confortable. Petit-dejeuner fabuleux avec des produits de qualités et pour la plupart fait maison (dont un délicieux yaourt et tout une variété de cakes gourmands).

juste petit bémol sur la télévision très petite et non connectée à internet.

Les chambres etaient propre. Pour ce qui est du petit déjeuner de l’accueil. C’était super.

Le seul point critique c’étaient les chambres du rez de chaussée. Il doit y avoir un problème de VMC car humide. Mais correcte
