Beautiful quiet, elevated location ideal for coastal walks & 5-10 minutes from Sauzon port & village. Fabulous breakfast buffet included selection of locale and homemade produce. Wide selection of fresh fruits, farm yoghurts, homemade cakes & pastries as well as freshly made breakfast crepes and delicious scrambled egg and apple compote dishes. Continental selection also available. Sunday evening vegetarian buffet surprisingly different and superb. Restaurant staff attentive. Booked twin room with terrace and seaview very modern and clean, rainforest shower with all toiletries and towels provided (including one for pool use) very comfortable beds. Lovely hotel lounge overlooking Sauzon port and bay which opens out to terraced area with pool, very popular hot tub and sauna. Coastal path to Pointe du Poulains alongside hotel - ideally located for walkers.

Disappointed by lack of welcome or attention on arrival. Some reception staff evidently better skilled and trained in customer service than others - one even appeared reluctant to assist at times. Rooms did not have a kettle. English breakfast tea unavailable until requested on day 2. Island Taxi service expensive and limited to 3 main providers. Tip - need to arrange bookings well in advance if require transfers to Le Palais port.

Location and views are unbeatable. Swimming pool and heated jacuzzi was incredible.

The bar service was intermittent - whole day service with snacks could improve the experience.

Breathtaking views and food, perfect holiday experience

It starts with the location overlooking the Sauzon coastline in a beautiful spot in nature, continues with facilities such as amazing rental and storage of bikes, then pool, sauna and jacuzzi all set in beautiful settings with crazy views, up until the food which was a real surprise for a 3* hotel. The vegetarian restaurant is really worth it, their dinners tasty and creative and their breakfast really worth the price, the best I had in years, all homemade and delicious. Great presentation, plenty space, also outdoors. Finally, the staff - both at the hotel and the restaurant were exceptional. Not used to such level of warmth and professionalism in France. Will definitely be back!

The only cons were a very poor wifi (which we personally didn’t care much about) and a poor shower.

some key things missing: A/C or fan, kettle, lift for step free access to the rooms or the car park) also a shame that we paid extra for a room with a balcony, but cheaper room are higher and have a better seaview. staff was nice but not very professional or good at explaining things (luggage left in the luggage room was not labelled or brought to the room)

This hotel is a gem! The location was wonderful. Close to the village of Sauzon ( 6 minute walk) yet high on a hill overlooking a picturesque bay dotted with white sailboats. Beautiful facility looked quite new. Very light and bright. And the dinner! The dining room buffet was the best I've ever had. More like a cruise ship experience! All you can eat seafood buffet and a superb main course. Bread, cheese, salads and wine included, plus killer desserts. All for a modest price. Beautiful cocktail lounge, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, the works! The nicest staff ever! Lovely young people were so helpful.

Good atmosphere, great staff, nice to sit outside and eat while watch the yachts both in sunrise and sunset.

The main problem, little to do with the hotel, is the expense and restrictions of the ferry. However the hotel should provide first timers a bit of guidance as the best means of reaching Belle Isle. It is best to park in Quiberon, catch the Quibus and travel by ferry and then taxi.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt auf der schönen Insel

Eine sehr gute Lage (5 Minuten fußläufig zum Hafen von Sauzon), freundliches Personal, sauberes, angenehmes Zimmer. Wir haben allerdings weder gefrühstückt noch zu Abend gegessen. Wir wollten das Inselflair im nacheglegenen Hafen genießen - und - wir fanden es auch recht teuer, auch wenn sicher sehr hochwertig. E-Bike-Verleih war unkompliziert und zu einem fairen Preis im Hotel möglich. Wir haben unser Auto am Festland auf einem bewachten Parkplatz mit Shuttleservice zur Fähre gelassen und den hoteleigenen Shuttleservice Le Palais <-> Le Cardinal genutzt. Dies war entspannter, ökologischer und preiswerter als mit Auto.

Die Abholung von der Fähre in Le Plais war nicht gut organisiert. Man hatte uns nicht den Standort des Shuttels gesendet und wir irrten am Hafen umher, da wir annahmen wir werden an der Fähre abgeholt. Erst nach einem Anruf im Hotel konnten wir durch das dann übermittelte Standortfoto den Shuttle finden. Aber wenigstens gewartet wurde auf uns - worunter dann die anderen Gäste leiden mussten. Der Transfer Hotel - Fähre zur Heimreise war problemlos 😉

La piscine et le jacuzzi avec vue sur la mer très bien ! La location de vélo et de voiture s’est bien passé. Le personnel est accueillant.

Attention l’hôtel est difficile d’accès si vous n’avez pas de voiture donc si on avait su on aurait pris un taxi. Le bus est loin de l’embarcadère et il faut monter pour le prendre c’est très raide et arrivé au port de sauzon vous êtes à 1 km de l’hôtel il faut prendre un chemin avec une montée très raide et avec les valises ! TRÈS TRÈS DÉÇU pour un 3 étoiles ! La chambre est vraiment très petite on peut à peine circuler au bout du lit. Un tabouret comme table de chevet. Impossible de mettre sa valise sur le tabouret pliant prévu car pas de place ! Il n’y a pas de frigo ni de bouilloire un peu limite pour un 3 étoiles ! A 19h on rentre et la chambre n’était pas faite donc on a dû demander des serviettes à l’accueil et les changer nous même on a payé pour ce service ! Le cendrier sur le balcon n’a jamais été vidé ! Les serviettes de piscine sont restées trempé 3 jours sur le balcon ! Les verres n’ont jamais étaient lavé ! Un soir on a pris le buffet végétarien à l’hôtel cher et sans plus et plus de desserts on nous a dit qu’un groupe avait tout mangé et que c’était dommage pour nous ! Le petit déjeuner est cher et resto végétarien donc idem pour le matin.

INCROYABLE, l'établissement offre une vue spectaculaire, avec piscine, jaccuzi et un superbe restau.

Wij waren hier uit nood en het was fijn dat er nog een kamer was maar voor die prijs zou ik verder kijken als ik niet ee

De ligging en de netheid. Voor de mensen die vegetarisch eten is het een walhalla want het is een compleet vegetarisch hotel.

Er is bewust gekozen om geen airco systeem te gebruiken maar schaduwrijk te beplanten. Er wordt ook geen gebruik gemaakt van een automatisch ventilatiesysteem of desnoods een plafond waaier waardoor het erg benauwd was in de kamer. Verder is er een mooi zwembad met een jacuzzi het enige nadeel was dat deze door niemand werd gemonitord waardoor er echt hinder van schreeuwende kinderen die rustig een bommetje maken in de jacuzzi terwijl er andere gasten in zaten, werd ervaren door de andere gasten. Opzich kan het hotel er niet heel veel aan doen en de kinderen ook niet maar de ouders van de kinderen hadden duidelijk ook vakantie en lieten het maar voor wat het was. En als je dan in het hoogseizoen ruim €250 per nacht neerlegt voor een kamer is het wel een beetje zuur als je er geen rust vindt.
