Angel Spagna Suite

The location was superb! We got a room facing the back on purpose, feeling that a front room would be noisy. The room was indeed very quiet, there were blackout curtains, so no light was coming in and we would be able to sleep comfortably. The room is being cleaned on a daily basis and the cleaners were very polite and helpful!

The location is fantastic, it allowed us to go out early to avoid the heat, come back and have a rest at around 1 pm and then go out again when it was cooler. We did everything on foot in 3 days. There is a small basic kitchen that during our stay, we seemed to be the only ones using it (it has a grill, kettle and coffee machine w free coffee pods) . We bought nice pastrami, panini and buffalo cheese and made grilled paninis for breakfast. There is no cutlery or plates so we bought plastic ones at the nearby carrefour. The walls are very good as we could not hear anyone from the next door room and our room was super quiet at night. There is also a self service laundry at walking distance, 8 mins away.

It would be nice to have drink glasses and coffee cups not made of thin plastic and cutlery as well, since a kitchen and grill are available.

Location, location, location! The room was clean, but it’s not a Hotel, not even an Airbnb. It’s a room inside an apartment with no host.

No reception, no host, no safety, no help. I felt like I was in someone’s bedroom in an old awkward apartment.
