I had a wonderful stay at Courtyard by Marriott Rio and couldn’t fault the experience. The hotel is comfortable a little further out but close to shopping centers. It feels calm and welcoming after a busy day exploring the city. What truly made the stay exceptional was the staff; they were consistently attentive, kind, and genuinely caring. The breakfast team were especially brilliant. Cecilia and her colleagues went above and beyond every morning, always greeting us with warmth and making sure everything was perfect. Their attention to detail and friendliness really stood out and made breakfast something to look forward to each day. A special thank you as well to the manager, Robort, who was incredibly professional and supportive, ensuring our stay was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.

Far from everywhere

It was the closest available for a conference in Rio Centro. But everything in Barra is so far away for everything, even Rio Centro. There was a shuttle organised by the conference and still took us half hour to get there due to traffic and the configuration of the roads Breakfast was the best part. Pão de queijo and breads freshly baked. The tapioca was disappointing

Washing machines were smelly and dirty, and cost R$50 for a load of washing and drying

The staff were awesome, nice, attentive to one’s needs and during breakfast was my favorite time at the hotel. Wonderful kitchen staff - 10 stars ✨

The location was far from everything else. It is best for those who have their personal car or are ready to make extra travel cost on Uber. As a tourist who is visiting to have fun, it is more or less not worth the location.

Terrible stay, where I was robbed and mistreated by hotel staff.

Rooms were big.

I was terribly treated by receptionists and manager (?) Robbed inside my hotel room. Spent hours trying to solve this matter with the hotel. Treated like I was crazy. With (unfortunately) no time to call the police, that was what I should had done… I would never ever think that any of what happened would ever happen in a Marriot Hotel…

The staff at the front desk was overloaded with a big queue of customers. Huge wait time for checking in. No service to the rooms. Extensions to the housekeeping did not work. Overall PATHETIC experience

Very good

I had an exceptional experience with the whole staff, they were very helpfull since the check-in until the check-out. The cost I think it was expensive compared with others hotel in the region, but the staff was very nice. Other thing that I think is not according with the region price is the breakfast price, R$ 57,00 for it, no way...

breakfast price was very expensive per what they provide (could be 50% of the current value), only thing that I noticed is that there´s no security cameras on the emergency exit (stairs) maybe a security breach.
