Comfortable clean bed. Large bathroom with clean towels. Lovely view and so convenient for us going to the airport early morning.
Furniture was in a poor state and there were no bedside tables.

Great location for the airport and on the canal which is lovely to walk. Friendly welcoming staff, cosy atmosphere and food is 11/10. Bedroom has cute coffee making facilities and treats etc . Parking isn’t an issue either .
There is a late check in fee of £20 if you arrive after 11pm. Understandable but as close to airport may be worth some form of key box ?

Evening meal was very good, excellent starter & husband's steak was said to be one of the best he had ever had. Our room was very comfortable & we appreciated the big fluffy towels in the ensuite. As it was our anniversary we received a card on our dining table from the hotel which was a lovely touch.
Unfortunately when we came down for breakfast next morning a coach load of American tourists had arrived 2 hours early & the 2 young staff were very preoccupied with serving them. We were offered tea and coffee but nothing else. Tea arrived but not the coffee & from then on we were ignored. After waiting in vain for a member of staff to appear with a menu or even an offer of toast we eventually gave up & left the restaurant as it was extremely noisy due to the large party. It was just unfortunate that we arrived when we did!
