Such a great place to stay! I had an amazing experience both staying here and traveling. The guesthouse is clean and cozy. It’s warm in winter with heating, and electric blankets are provided, which was a big plus. The bathrooms and toilets are always clean, with daily cleaning, and there’s plenty of hot water for showers. There’s a shared kitchen, and they provide lots of free food like bread, instant noodles, eggs, butter, chocolate spread, strawberry jam, etc. The host is super nice, and the volunteers are friendly and welcoming. In the evenings, people usually hang out together, chat, and watch TV, so it’s easy to meet travelers from all over the world.

It was a fun location near the Gwangbok-ro Fashion Street and holiday lights. It was convenient to get to the Lotte building for amenities as well.

The property advertised laundry, but we never saw a single staff person to give our laundry to. No self service laundry was available. We messaged the host and were told to give it to the staff. However, no staff was present at any time during our stay. The ability to do laundry was pretty important at this point in our trip. I selected this property partially because laundry was listed as a service. I had to wash clothes in the sink in order not to be traveling back home in dirty clothes.
