Palazzo Giunta - Porta Marina Ortigia

Really beautiful place lovely old building with loads of character and a lovely view to go with it. Staff were really friendly and Rooms were really clean aswell. Fantastic stay!

Honestly, everything. The architecture resembled traditional Sicilian houses and, as a Sicilian, it made me feel right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best possible stay. Their warmth and attention to detail made us feel truly looked after. The property was exceptionally clean, and it wasn't nearly as noisy as some of the reviews had suggested. The location was excellent, we were right in the center and within walking distance of everything. Our room also had a breathtaking view on the harbour.

The walls were quite thin so the rooms weren't soundproof, as other guests had mentioned. We could hear guests upstairs dragging their luggage across the floor or coughing from the room next to ours. I would also suggest adding 2 stools by the French balcony doors (inside) so guests can choose to take them out and sit to enjoy the breeze and the beautiful view in the evening. Despite this, I would happily stay here again, as everything else was perfect and exceeded our expectations.

Breakfast was delicious. Emily, our host was lovely. So friendly and knowledgeable and had lots of great advice and restaurant recommendations. The parking lot is right across the street so you don't have to drive in the city centre to get there.
