Exceeded my expectations.

The beach was super close to the hotel and we had our beach chairs available and for free because they were included on the price. The beach was super clean. The room was spacious and had all the amenities necessary for the stay. The housekeeping team was super nice and they did a wonderful job. I would definitely come back and I am recommending it to my friends.

I would only suggest that maybe in the future you can add an iron and iron board (very much needed especially if you are on vacation) and also a phone in the rooms so the guest can easily reach the reception in case they need something.

The view was partially ok

The bed was like sleeping on a cardboard. I was displeased with the shower and the fridge it was not up to standard. For the value of the money it was tight. If I could I would give it zero.

Frustrating Experience – Would Not Recommend.

Excellent location.

My stay was very disappointing. The room was so cramped that I couldn't even fully open the refrigerator or the wardrobe. Comfort clearly wasn’t a priority in the design. What made things worse was the attitude of the staff — unhelpful and borderline rude. The WiFi didn’t work at all, and when I asked the receptionist about it, I got no explanation or support. I wasn’t the only one — another guest was visibly upset and also complained about the lack of internet, but the staff showed no concern. Poor facilities, no service mindset, and nonexistent WiFi — this is not what I expect from a hotel. Definitely not coming back.

Great hotel and beach, food could be improved

The room and the hotel were great. The balcony had a nice view and everything was looked after. It is very well located with private sun beds. The beach is beautiful

The breakfast could do with a bit more options. In addition, we had lunch one day of our stay there and the food was served cold. We appreciate it was busy, but we did not have the chance to raise it as an issue which would have been appreciated.

They lied to us

The room we booked 3 months prior of pur arrival was given to someone else who bought for a higher price than us. We had no explanation on what happened and weren’t told before. Do not come here service is terrible

Exceptional

Cleanness and comfort, very close to the beach with ⛱️ umbrellas included in the room price. Swimming pool was very nice. Available free parking outside and underground.

I didn't like was no iron in the room and loud music until late night from bars near the hotel, but you can't blame hotel for music being loud, is more township responsibility.

It's overpriced

You are paying for the location and sunbeds. Hotel is right on beachfront. Beach is lovely but the blasting of rap music from midday to 5pm everyday from one bar ruined it, we had allocated sunbeds with the hotel so couldn't move away without paying more and the beach were charging 45 euros for sunbeds so we suffered the music.

Room was very small, bathroom falling apart. Ate at the restaurant one night, waitress was rude & miserable, food was poor & bill expensive. Oh and reception came up with the ridiculous excuse that the exchange rate is set by the bank and therefore it cost an extra £35, this is the only hotel out of the 6 we stayed in that did this.

We loved staying in Hotel Ionian. For sure we will come back there.

The hotel is in a very good location. We had a room with sea view. The stuff was nice with us. We loved also the breakfast and the restaurant has delicious food.

The room was a bit small, and the water in shower wasn’t drained immediately. Note: the restaurant near Abonora was a bit expensive and they served foods which we didn’t order.

Superb

Great hotel, great location. The pool was amazing. Very close to the beach, 1 min walk, it was very convenient. The umbrellas were included and were very close to the hotel. They gave us 4 beds at the beach since we were 4, so there was nothing lacking. The breakfast was a buffet with many options to choose from. The cleaning ladies cleaned every single day and were very nice and professional.

The room was a little small... The family room was 25m square (for 4 people). There was only one closet for 4 people which was also too small, we ended up keeping our clothes in the luggage. They closed the couch at first so the room looks bigger, later on they opened it and there was no room to move at all, especially for 4 people and that price.

Great stay for what we were looking for: proximity to beach, restaurants and food

My favorite part of the hotel is the proximity to the beach, included parking and ease of getting there. The restaurant and the complementary breakfast are great.

It's not a super luxurious hotel, but all the amenities are there. The rooms were a bit small, but we managed. They charged $5/day to use the pool. I never use the pool while at the beach, but something to consider for folks traveling with kids

Close to the beach. Beach and the pool were fantastic.

First of all, we had to switch rooms due to plumbing issue in our bathroom. Room started smelling like sewer. They cane to fix it and they didn’t, so they left all kinds of pipes in the bathroom without even notifying us of when will they fix it. The major issue is the exchange rate calculation that they use when you pay for the stay. They pretty much took about 14% more in exchange between Euros and Albanian Lekē in the exchange. We had to pay additional $200 for the stay because of that. It was not only us, they did it to everyone that stayed there. Didn’t understand why. When the kids decided to go to the pool, they wanted to charge us 5 Euros for each person even though Booking.com reservation shows Kids pool as a free option. After a complain, we did not pay for the pool. Also, the loud music from a nearby beach bar was disturbing. We were unable to sleep until past midnight, every night! Frustrating!!

The hotel is in first line of beach and has a new restaurant and facilities included free parking and sunbeds in the beach. It's located in Drymades where you must find most of dhermi's beach clubs.

There are not elevators in the hotel, and the breakfast should have more variety including fruits. If you pay by card the convert the price in lekes with a below market price so you'll pay 20/30 euros more for your stay. Not all the staff speak English so it's difficult when trying to reach nor ask something to someone there.

Fantastic pool

The pool is fantastic, with the sea view. Also the restaurant nearby was very good. The beach is just crossing the street.

The room (we had a triple room) was a bit little. The check-in was slow. The price of the room was higher than those of the rest of Albania, but in line with the area's prices.

Exceptional

Excellent hotel in Drimadhes! The hotel had undergone recent renovation. It has a beachfront infinity pool with great views of the ionian sea. The restaurant was very good; very good breakfast, decent size rooms, many of which have some sea view. Great for kids, as they could either use the pool or just cross the street into the beach. The hotel had arranged for free umbrellas on the beach right in front of it and had free underground parking. Excellent all around.
