Dongdaemun Neighbors

Cuando llegué me equivoqué de alojamiento y el hombre llamado Kan (perdón si no es correcto) me llevó hasta el alojamiento correcto, me compró una Pepsi y me ayudó con la maleta pesada todo el trayecto! Fue una gran experiencia nada más llegar al país :) Las instalaciones son muy completas, tiene varias lavadoras, un tendedero que la gente puede llevar a su habitación, cocina. Puedes coger toallas si las necesitas en la entrada. La ubicación es buena, a 3 minutos andando de la parada del autobús 6002 que llega del aeropuerto y a 10 minutos del metro de Silseong.

We arrived at 3am due to flight delays, and to our shock, the room wasn't ready! We tried to contact the host, but understandably, it was 3am. We had no choice but to look for fresh bedding ourselves and disinfect the room, and we didn't finish until 6:30am! Thankfully, the host acknowledged what had happened and was extremely apologetic. He even offered us a refund to make up for the error. He was very kind and true to his word, which we really appreciated! It was our first time in Korea, and despite the initial issue, he certainly made a good impression on us and gave us a great first experience of Korean hospitality. We understand that human errors are inevitable, and we don't hold it against him. Thank you, Kang! Once we settled in, everything went very well. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the facilities, including unlimited drinking water, a kitchen, and a washing machine, made our stay very comfortable. Yes, the property may appear a little run-down at first impression, but for the price we paid, it was definitely worth it! We fell in love with Seoul so much that we wanted to rebook our stay after our trip to Busan, but unfortunately, it was fully booked. Thank you, Kang, for honouring your word and for making our stay as comfortable and welcoming as possible. We really appreciate it. We hope to return one day! It is a good place to crash a night after a long flight from/to Europe. If landing at ICN airpot, this place is really a quick walk from from one of subway stations The place is ralmost ight in the city center, close to big shopping mall with anything You might need for Your stay. The rooms - typical dormitory beds, maybe a little place to move around, small toilets and so on, but everything works and gives You another perspective and experience. Around or near the hostel there are some usual vending machines with any kind of stuff You could imagine plus some shops like famous G25. The owner is a cool guy, who knows travellers` needs and always ready for a chat or help. The place has lots of passing tavellers, who can share some incrediblie stories with You or give You some tips or news about Your next destination! Would love to visit this palce again! Thanks for all the hospitality!

Some kind of renovation/refurbishment in all areas would be handy;)
