The hotel had the greatest breakfest, even gluten free options (and bread). The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is also great, few minutes walk to the center of Bovec.

The bathroom in the ground floor apartments is very uncomfortable with no privacy. The toilet and shower are divided by a glass wall and closed by a slide door made of glass. The sink is actualy in the room.

Lovely hotel on the edge of Bovec. We stayed in the Penthouse which was spacious, well appointed and great for a family of 6. Hotel staff lovely - the breakfast is a highlight with lovely local produce freshly made every day offering something unique and different from th normal fare. Highly recommended.

TVs in the rooms were linked to cable and had a good range of channels but the smart apps for streaming services would not connect so ability to login to own Amazon or Netflix account not available.

Wonderful location, surrounded by the mountains, amazing view out the window. Also enjoyed that there was an option for spa services and bike rentals. The breakfast was delicious even if a bit high priced.

The kitchen was a bit lacking of essentials like there was an oven but no baking dishes. When we first arrived there was an issue with the AC as the previous guests had complained it was not cool enough. They were right, it stayed quite warm in the living area and the AC would make a loud noise when we tried to turn the fan up. We tried alerting the front desk when we left, but they said its not common to use AC and to open a window. Normally we would use the windows, but we were visiting during an abnormally hot time. Lastly, the beds were on the ground and quite soft, you could feel the board underneath when laying down. We had a 4 bed place and there were only two of us so we stacked the mattresses and that worked a bit, though it made them extra soft. Only instant coffee in the rooms and charged for a coffee in the lobby. Just a lot of cost and high price for what you are getting, but what you really get is the location and the view, that is what you are paying for and I would say it is worth it!

Location, friendly personnel

Our family room had no proper bed for us two adults - one room with a queen (140cm max!) bed and a single, living room with pullout couch and no possibility to darken the room. Black out curtain only covered 2/3rds of room wide window and a sky light without any possibility to darken at all. Bright as day in there. Bedroom window was facing towards the wooden outer staircase and was reasonably dark with shades although still let light in through the side cracks. Since the kids wake easily in a bright room, they had to take the bedroom while us adults took the sofa bed which is ok comfortable. Bathroom only had a tub with no curtain. Two hooks for towels, toiletry bag etc was not enough. Minimal space to put your toiletries under the sink. Dressers were a bit dusty inside so we didn’t unpack. It was quiet, except when people are loud on the outer staircase. No traffic noise. Breakfast for 54€ for two adults and two kids was too expensive, especially since there isn’t a great coffee machine, no omelet, but scrambled eggs (did not love), whole fruits, cheese, boiled eggs, small choice of cereal, breakfast meat, cakes&desserts. If you are into cakes, cookies and dessert for breakfast, this might be for you. For a cereal, fruit salad and rolls breakfast eater, this is too expensive. Sauna is nice with one infrared and one 90 degree C sauna- to be reserved in advance for 10€ an hour for your private use. Was booked out on a rainy day though. Laundry service (washing/folding) is 20€ for a 10kg load- too expensive. No iron in the room either. Filter coffee maker in the room, oven, stove top and mini fridge. Worn furniture in the room (Ikea) but usable. Most rooms have balconies im the public space around the outside wooden staircase, many windows facing this deck as well. Privacy is an issue. Free parking. No EV charging, but if necessary you could plug into a regular outlet in the breakfast room and park outside it‘s window/door.
