Super nice hosts with an exceptionally good breakfast.

The reception employee and owner are very friendly and upbeat and even offered a welcome drink. Highlight is definitely the breakfast. Lots of variety of self made and local produced food. A welcome change to the usual Hotel breakfast. I traveled by bicycle and was able to put it into my room, but they also have a dedicated bicycle storage room.

Great Staff

Enthusiastic welcome from receptionist who poured us a shot of their local spirits and shared recommendations for both food and local sights during our stay. She then personally escorted us to our room. Her food recommendation for supper was spot on! We had a fantastic salmon dinner with roasted potatoes and spinach and an amazing basket of bread! A short walk in the morning to get freshly baked pastries and a stop for coffee at the end of our street with an incredible view of mountains all around made for a perfect morning!

Facility is kind of worn and dated although functional. Lots of wood decking and stairs that are slippery when wet.

Good location but way overpriced

Location, friendly personnel

Our family room had no proper bed for us two adults - one room with a queen (140cm max!) bed and a single, living room with pullout couch and no possibility to darken the room. Black out curtain only covered 2/3rds of room wide window and a sky light without any possibility to darken at all. Bright as day in there. Bedroom window was facing towards the wooden outer staircase and was reasonably dark with shades although still let light in through the side cracks. Since the kids wake easily in a bright room, they had to take the bedroom while us adults took the sofa bed which is ok comfortable. Bathroom only had a tub with no curtain. Two hooks for towels, toiletry bag etc was not enough. Minimal space to put your toiletries under the sink. Dressers were a bit dusty inside so we didn’t unpack. It was quiet, except when people are loud on the outer staircase. No traffic noise. Breakfast for 54€ for two adults and two kids was too expensive, especially since there isn’t a great coffee machine, no omelet, but scrambled eggs (did not love), whole fruits, cheese, boiled eggs, small choice of cereal, breakfast meat, cakes&desserts. If you are into cakes, cookies and dessert for breakfast, this might be for you. For a cereal, fruit salad and rolls breakfast eater, this is too expensive. Sauna is nice with one infrared and one 90 degree C sauna- to be reserved in advance for 10€ an hour for your private use. Was booked out on a rainy day though. Laundry service (washing/folding) is 20€ for a 10kg load- too expensive. No iron in the room either. Filter coffee maker in the room, oven, stove top and mini fridge. Worn furniture in the room (Ikea) but usable. Most rooms have balconies im the public space around the outside wooden staircase, many windows facing this deck as well. Privacy is an issue. Free parking. No EV charging, but if necessary you could plug into a regular outlet in the breakfast room and park outside it‘s window/door.

Nice hotel but I was fooled by the pictures, the room was small with only a window next to the door on one side, other walls no windows. I though I would get a room with a view with more windows. if I knew this is the room I would get I wouldnt have booked it

Comfortable base for exploring a beautiful town and natural area

It was a well made and well designed house. The view was stunning…once the mist lifted! Breakfast was wonderful - home made natural tea, home-grown veggies… it was lovely. And the staff were really helpful with booking things or deciding on what to do. We were a little nervous about whitewater rafting with young kids but the company they recommended were a brilliant mix of fun and safe! It’s easy to walk to several bars/cafes/restaurants but in busy times you might want to go early or book. Parking is free and easy. A great place for exploring all the natural delights around Bovec and the Soca valley - it’s a stunning location :)

A thrilling adventure holiday in the middle of untouched paradise

Conveniently located and very central to the centre of Bovec. Were easily picked up by all activities from hotel with no dramas and transfers were organised seamlessly.

The massages were not worthwhile and hotel seemed understaffed given it was July (typically peak season).

Lovely feel and great location.

Imaginatively designed hotel with unique room layout that makes it feel less like a hotel and more like your own private apartment and gives a friendly atmosphere. Bovec is a lovely town surrounded by the most beautiful scenery. Fantastic for outdoor adventures of many different types.

Breakfast qas a bit expensive especially if you are not a big eater, which I am not.

The breakfast was extremely Good and handmade dishes were offered. The whole building, the common Rooms and the Apartment itself were lovely. our hosts were also super friendly (we got an room upgrade and breakfast at the First Morning was shown and explained to us). we also enjoyed the possibility to privately book the spa/sauna that is located downstairs.

Wonderful people operate an excellent hotel in the middle of heaven on earth

The staff, breakfast buffet, room and location were a cut above the usual. The breakfast included fresh local and homemade food. Upon arrival we were offered a welcome shot of homemade black coneflower liquor. Every interaction we had with the staff was lovely. They are so friendly and efficient. Set in the Julian Alps this is the perfect location to explore the many waterfalls, hikes and towns. The town of Kobarid and its WWI museum was excellent as was the hike to Kozjak Waterfall.

We didn't want to leave.

A place to come back again

Wonderful architecture of the hotel, wonderful view. A special impression is the welcome drink. Thank you!!!! The breakfast is the best we have ever had. The large selection of local food is a hit. We had a lovely, big apartment. Nicely lit with two exits to the terraces. Even before we left, we were already making a plan for when we would come again.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, we had booked an economy room but they were kind enough to upgrade us to the apartment which was very nice and cozy. Whenever we had questions they were able to check and provide their thoughts which helped us plan our time better :)

The only point to keep in mind is that you need a car to get to the location.

Great place to stay in Bovec, worth staying just for the breakfast!

Exceptional Breakfast, great choice of local produce. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable on the area. Lots of parking and easy walk into the town with a supermarket just over the road.

Room was small and a little dated, the bed and pillows could be better but it was clean, tidy and has everything you need.

The breakfast was really delicious, good choice, good quality, even herbs to choose for your tea. Saunas were also very good. The receptionists were helpful and friendly. We were advised a New Year's Eve dinner at a hotel next door and it was excellent. We can recommend the hotel to anyone. Beautiful nature and a pleasant little town around. We'll be coming back for a summer stay.

Cosy and right in the heart of Bovec

Location right in the heart of Bovec, kind receptionist and a welcome drink, cosy room with a nice view, kitchen amenities.

Bed was a bit hard and made creaking noises. Also, the washbasin was in the room and not in the bathroom, seemed a bit weird.
