    Daiwa Roynet hotel Hachijoguchi is located near Kyoto Station, just around 4-minute walk, so it's very convenient to travel. The room is very clean and comfortable. There are many restaurants nearby, especially local places. 1 point to bear in mind is that there are many Daiwa Roynet hotels located pretty close together. There is one Daiwa that is super close to Kyoto station, but that is not this one. From Kyoto station main entrance (first floor), you shall walk across the street and walk straight for around 4,5 minutes. Overall, my experience with this hotel was memorable.

    Overall the stay is good. The location is near to kyoto station, and not too near that it become noisy. One thing i dislike is that the hotel appear not very generous as compare to other hotels i stay in. Especially in term of providing consumables. As i am a solo traveller and book for 1 person only, the consumables provided are only for 1 as well (i.e. 1x towel, bottled water etc). Although these are extracost to the hotel, i just feel abit stingy as compare to other hotel. Typical hotel i stay in provide a pair of consumables even though the room is book for 1.
