Lovely cozy hotel

Good location, very clean and the bar area is great to have - feels very cozy. Breakfast had lots of choice.

Everyone is so friendly. The food is great. And the location couldn’t be better. I can park my car right in front of the door.

Auron - my new favourite ski destination

Location was super - a short walk from the lifts and all the restaurants. Staff were very nice and pleasant to speak with. Parking, checkin, checkout were all very easy and our room had a nice view up one of the slopes. The hotel has a nice bar which I wish I had used

The price I paid reflected the end of season timing and was very reasonable. Personally, I wouldn't be too keen to pay the top nightly rate as proposed for the hotel at the busiest part of the ski season - that rate is a function of market forces and people's willingness to pay. This is not a complaint at all, just an observation on my part.

not worth the price, won’t be back.

breakfast was ok, and staff was nice.

VERY VERY expensive for a tiny room (which was supposed to be an upgrade so had payed extra at the property) , tiny bathroom no bath, bad smell in the room. Very disappointed.

We felt welcome.

Friendly staff, good breakfast and dinner. We found the prices for food and wine in the restaurant a bit on the high side.

The bathroom and toilet room are very basic and could benefit from renovation. Noisy in our room when guest in room above was in the shower (water running in drain pipe).

The owners/staff were nicee and helped us find a place to have dinner.

t was a bad time to go to Auron as everything was closed. During ski season it is a wonderful little place. However I don't know if I would want to stay at Hotel l'Ecureuil even during the season. The hotel was charming at some time in the past but is way past due for improvements. We had heard that the kitchen there was wonderful but the breakfast we had was really nothing to remember.

Pretty, comfortable mountain hotel. We stayed only one night on our journey. Good value, nice staff and delicious breakfast.

The hotel seems to be clean and tidy, but it smells a little stale. Perhaps it’s the carpets. Fix the smell and you have a 5* recommendation for value for money and charm.

Accueil très agréable, la chambre familiale était adaptée pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants. L’hôtel est bien situé dans la station. Parking juste devant, très pratique. Et le restaurant !!! Un régal avec une carte qui change. À faire même quand on ne loge pas dans l’hôtel

Nous entendions beaucoup les discussions de la chambre à côté. Ils ne faisaient sûrement pas attention mais les cloisons ne semblaient aussi pas très épaisses
