Chilling at Garda Lake

That was our second time at Villa Selene (that should tell you something already). Location is simply amazing, you can see the lake below you and the mountains surrounding it. Breakfasts served at the location are fresh and tasty (including great coffee). There are two fantastic restaurants within walking distance for lunch or dinner (you will need reservations as they are always full). Note- the place is not close to the lake, it's far above it (great views guaranteed). If you want you can just spend your day reading books in the garden with an amazing view of the lake.

Simply perfecto!

We had a truly perfect holiday at Villa Selene. From the moment you arrive the views are stunning and you are greeted with kind service. The hotel itself is beautiful. We loved sitting on the terrace and enjoying a cappuccino or a glass of wine. The breakfast each day was unique and delicious. There was a lovely tea bar and plenty of food options, even for those with allergies. While it may not be on the lake shore, there is a stunning view of the lake. You can drive down to Limone Sul Garda and either enjoy the beach or take the ferry from there. The service is incredible!!! I would stay here every year if I didn’t live across the ocean.

Great hotel and the mother and son running the hotel borth are very kind and caring...... Stunning views that you will never forget. And the breakfast was wonderful so many options and not forgetting the smoothie to order when you have breakfast. I will definitely recommend this hotel and if I go to Garda I will definitely go there again ... the best view rooms names looking to the Photos this two rooms were the best rooms great hotel great people. Unbelievable views and the most lovely hosts

The staff at Villa Selene - Anita and Fillipo - were incredibly welcoming and friendly, helping us to book a table at a local restaurant and always making sure we had everything we needed. The views from the hotel are unbelievable, and eating breakfast outdoors overlooking the lake and mountain vista was a real "wow" moment. We visited in May, and found the village very quiet and peaceful, you're certainly away from the crowds here - the only noise you can hear at night is the singing of cicadas. We couldn't believe how lucky we were to stay here, and were very sad to leave.

The room we stayed in was fairly basic, but it had everything we needed. The location and views more than made up for a little less luxury indoors! You will need a car to be able to access the hotel and the roads are very steep and bendy. This was no problem for us (we really enjoyed driving around and exploring!) but something to bear in mind if you are not a confident driver.

Perfect location with a scenic view of the lake and mountains. Small, quiet, peaceful hotel with a romantic atmosphere. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with wide beds and a small balcony. A rich and fresh breakfast included vegetables, fruits, cheese, yogurts and more.. Eggs and coffee were served individually after you ordered. The family who owns the hotel was very kind and helpful.

It is a little bit hard to reach the hotel, the roads are very narrow so you can't drive more than 30 km/hr. Small cars are recommended in these places.

Great view, lovely staff

The view was amazing! Sitting on the terrace with a simple coffee was a experience I would never forget. Waking up with a balcony view of the lake was also hard to beat. The staff were very friendly and helpful, too.

The shower gel won’t come out of the bottle, probably quite old. Recommend to bring your own bath products. The walls are quite thin, so you can hear other people outside the door.

Our stay was fantastic. The owner was incredible - kind, friendly and incredibly generous. Although we didn't spend much time in the hotel itself, when we were there we really enjoyed ourselves. The view is amazing and the breakfast in the morning was home made and delicious. Thoroughly recommend!

Very friendly host. She is always helpful to provide useful information. The hotel is located in quiet area with wonderful view in terrace. Guests can enjoy breakfast in terrace with viewing the lake. Hotel also provides beach towels and bike for guests.

Nachts angekommen, sehr freundlicher Empfang. Am Morgen am Balkon die atemberaubende Aussicht vom Zimmer aus. Das Frühstück genügt höchsten Ansprüchen. Die Aussicht auf der Terrasse traumhaft.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Man konnte wählen zwischen verschiedenen Kaffees und Eierspeisen, die frisch zubereitet wurden. Das Buffet war sehr schön und es gab jeden Tag auch etwas neues. Wir konnten jeden Morgen auf der schönen Terrasse frühstücken mit einem genialen Blick auf den See und die Umgebung. Die etwas längere Anfahrt durch schmalere Sträßchen lohnt sich.

La gentilezza della padrona di casa che con suo figlio si è prodigata per rendere il nostro soggiorno il più gradevole possibile. Colazione super con prodotti freschi servita sotto un pergolato con vista lago. Posizionato sulla collina alle spalle di Campione offre un bel giardino che si affaccia sul lago con lettini e teli, e un silenzio che è una rarità.

Läget på hotellet med utsikten över Gardasjön är magisk. Fantastiskt bemötande när vi kom fram. Stort sovrum med gott om plats. En genuin liten krog mitt i byn med god service och mat.

Toller, entspannter sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Die Lage mit phänomenalem Ausblick auf den Gardasee ist unbeschreiblich. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, Badezimmer sind renoviert, schöne große Duschen. Das Frühstück ist grandios, sehr abwechslungsreich, jeden Tag gab es kleine leckere Überraschungen. Es handelt sich um ein familiengeführtes Hotel und man wird sehr freundlich empfangen, der ganze Aufenthalt ist durch die nette Art der Eigentümer sehr angenehm. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm.

Die Lage des Hotels ist einmalig. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Terrase auf der das umfangreiche und liebevoll bereitete Frühstück eingenommen werden kann bietet eine sensationelle Aussicht. Es bietet sonnige, halbschattige und schattige Plätze. Die verschiedenen Kaffeeangebote sind alle erstklassig. Die Liegewiese ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen. Das Personal (Besitzerin) sind zuvorkommend, hilfbereit und sehr freundlich.

Die Anfahrt zum Hotel ist derzeit schwierig, gefährlich und sehr zeitraubend. Sobald die Verbindungsstraße von Campione nach Tremosine wieder befahrbar ist, kommen wir wieder.
