Fabulous stay at this quaint traditional family hotel

Fabulous stay at this lovely quaint traditional family run hotel in the heart of Schladming just 10mins walk from the train station. Albert, Mama Tritscher and staff were exceptionally welcoming, courteous, attentive, friendly, helpful and incredibly efficient and couldn’t do enough for us. Our spotlessly clean spacious room on 3rd floor was quiet, cosy and super comfortable. The stairs (no lift) might be a challenge for some but was fine for us. Firm and comfy bed, powerful shower with excellent pressure, lashings of hot water and ample toiletries, plentiful wardrobe storage and hangers, good sized desk and pleasant seating area, and flatscreen TV was perfect. Our half board meal option was prompt, piping hot, hearty and delicious. The simple continental breakfast and traditional ‘home-cooked’ 3-course evening meals had variety and choice and was tasty and filling; absolutely perfect after a day’s skiing and the evening A La Carte menu was sumptuous and delicious too! We thoroughly enjoyed our exhilarating skiing holiday and super relaxing and restful stay and would highly recommend this lovely quaint traditional Austrian hotel as the perfect base to discover all that Schladming and the stunning surrounding mountains and outdoors activities that Austria has to offer. Thank you family Tritscher for a wonderful stay. We’ll be back! ❤️

Was fine for what we needed but not luxury

Spacious rooms with comfortable beds, right in the centre of town. Breakfast was adequate, staff were nice enough. It was fine for what we needed whilst skiing but wasn't luxury.

Hotel always smelt really strongly of food (as if the extractors pumped kitchen smell up in the hotel corridors and the bathroom smelt of damp. Pretty dated and basic.

Breakfasts were fine and there were always options for dinner, which was great. Room with comfy bed and spacy wardrobe for all our staff. No problem with storing bikes inside. Fantastic location directly in city center (great in summer)

The location brings the fact, there are churces neer to the apartments, so there bells ringing in the morning, from 6 am. (no problem for us, but good to know)

Friendly cosy hotel set in fairytale surroundings excellent access to ski resolrts

Primarily the salon is a wonderful example of Austrian comfort the staff Christina and Niko made you feel like a friend always going the extra mile and could not have done enough. Although I was there alone for skiing with great access to the ski areas this is a great romantic area

Very difficult to find a fault, possibly the continental breakfast for 7 days would win that

Nettes Hotel in zentraler Lage!

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und verfügt über ein gutes Gasthaus. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Es gibt keine hoteleigenen Parkplätze. Wenn man mit dem PKW kommt, sollte man berücksichtigen, dass es in Schladming eine Kurzparkzone gibt.

Mitgebuchter Parkplatz war nicht verfügbar. Weil parken in Schladming aber ein bekanntes Problem ist hab ich speziell ein Quartier mit Parkplatz gebucht.

Minden rendben volt. Kényelmes ágy. Nagy szoba. Szuper jó meleg fűtés. Szép kilátás. Bőséges reggeli.

Parkolást saját magam kellett megoldani. Holott fel van tüntetve, hogy ingyenes parkolás.

Die Lage ist unschlagbar. Sehr freundliches Personal. Gutes, reichhaltiges Frühstück. Wir konnten schon am Vormittag das Zimmer beziehen.

Die Heizung war nur schwierig zu regulieren.

Perfektes Hotel für Schladming-Urlaub.

Großes, sehr ruhiges Zimmer. Schönes Frühstück. Super zentrale Lage - Restaurants und Geschäfte in direkter Nachbarschaft. Auch Busse und Bahnhof sind sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Und als i-Tüpfelchen gibt es noch die SommerCard.
