The location was good and the ease of parking within walking distance of a shopping mall and football stadium

The tea and coffee making facilities was very poor water leaking out of machine and the drink cold to Luke warm would be much better to have a proper kettle when asked if I could get a kettle I was told No but if I came down to reception I could get a cup of hot water but one up would not be enough for 2 people The bed was extremely firm and the pillows and duvet where very lumpy the duvet didn’t even fit in the duvet cover all hanging out the bottom

It’s close to my workplace and it has a small shopping mall with coop right next to the hotel. 15min walk to train station and bus stop few min walk right outside of the hotel/shopping mall complex

Comfortable and reasonably priced place to stay in Geneva.

Comfortable hotel, reasonably priced for Geneva, helpful reception staff. Lots of restaurants and shops in nearby centre. Free public transport was a real bonus and allowed easy travel throughout the town. Airport bus-stop right outside the hotel.

Location adjacent to shopping centre and football stadium, but only 10-15 mins from lake and town centre by public transport. Hotel bar area rather lacking in atmosphere.

Overall excellent value for money in a good location with excellent access to transport

Hotel is in excellent location, within large complex for shopping ,eating and bus stops outside on both sides of main road. The staff were more than helpful, explaining how to get about using public transport which was free. The bed was extra large and very comfortable, breakfast was self service and as much as you could eat. Room and bathroom were cleaned and tidied each day

The only down side was air conditioning was a bit noisy, but didn't affect ouir sleep. The shower appeared to be partially blocked and was in danger of flooding if run for too long. Also wash basin plug was full of hair and didn't work properly. One of the lights went on the blink and kept flickering. We didn't complain to staff but would have thought cleaning staff should have picked up on these issues

Great Hotel near to a shopping center

The room was ready when we arrived. The side is very good, and the king-size bed is very comfortable. It has a small couch. Overall, it is very clean, and the air conditioning works well. The location is by a shopping mall, and there is a good Italian restaurant right outside the hotel.

The shower needs some extra care and to be cleaner. I saw on the corners some black fungi, but the toilet and the sink were clean. but the shower needs to be taken care of better.

Our Stay In Ramada Encore by Wyndham Geneva

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The check-in and check-out were smooth. The staff were friendly and spoke good English. We received a free transportation card during our stay.

All accommodations in Switzerland are very expensive, so the price was high. The location is not close to the city center, so you will have to drive or use public transportation. The parking was a big hard to figure out.

Bathroom has one of the best walkin in showers. Plenty of room and not in the least slippy. Hotel is actually within a shopping centre so you will be able to get supplies and dine in a plethora of places

Very nice and conventient

The hotel staff were so nice and friendly, rooms were very clean and bed were large and comfy. Even for the crib for our baby. It’s not in the center of the city but with free transportation pass they give and having a tram far by 10 mins walk only that needs 15 mins to reach center is not bad. Something will save you money. I liked also that the parking is secured and large space.

Very good stay with our dog.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Warm welcome. Knowledgeable front desk staff. Bus into the city just across the road via pedestrian crossing. Return bus stops right outside hotel. Having purchased the car driving permit on the road into Switzerland the hotel gave us a free pass for the public transport and some tourist rides. Commercial centre attached with great supermarket. Spacious room with every amenity we could wish for. Dog welcome. Underground car park accessed via El praille commercial centre car park.

Amazing Staff

The hotel is not exactly central but it is basically in a mall so everything is readily available in case you want to go shopping. The hotel staff at the reception was really kind and attentive, we had a small medical emergency and they were ready to recommend a nearby hospital and even called them to check if we could be seen. They are also dog friendly.

We only knew from google reviews that we should be going into the parking garage of the mall next to the hotel to park, otherwise we would had been circling around confused. However, there is a direct elevator from the garage to the reception so it is convenient but not clearly communicated. Moreover, the QR codes in the room did not work so they were kind of pointless.

Good

Spacious and clean room with a comfortable bed. Good soundproofing - although the hotel is located next to the trainstation, and inside a shopping mall, and majority of rooms at the time were with guests with dogs, it was very quiet in the room itself. There is plenty of parking in the garage of the mall - the hotel has it's own marked area for parking, paid separately.

The wifi didn't work at all. Quite unfriendly staff, both at check in and check out. The area around the hotel isn't particularly nice.

Disappointing as a business hotel

It took them two days to find a clothes iron and ironing board to send to my room. In that time the front desk staff blamed other guests for not returning the (only?!) iron, instead of their housekeeping’s poor tracking of equipment. I was there for a 3 day conference; at least on the last day I looked professional with an ironed shirt. On checkout, the front desk clerk tried to charge me again (even though I prepaid through booking.com) and did not explain her actions on the card machine after this trust-breakdown incident. During my interactions with front desk staff they spoke down to me and interrupted while I tried to raise issues (even after I pointed out that, where I come from, interrupting is considered rude; maybe it is acceptable behavior in Switzerland I don’t know). Usually I refrain from reviewing rather than relate a bad experience, but I have never had such bad customer experience with multiple staff members at any other place I stayed and cannot recommend this establishment to others.
