Excellent hotel.

Extremely helpful reception staff, especially the lady from Mexico and her trainee receptionist. Gave us great advice as to where to visit in the area and local restaurants. Very comfortable room and bed. Good breakfast. Good location.

Nice central hotel to stay with places to go and things to see.

Location next to WW2 German submarine base and close to all Museums. Main shopping centre across road. Easy parking/ free outside or pay in basement. I was on a motorcycle and all ok outside. British buffet breakfast as well as usual European .

Checking in was a nightmare - lady totaly not taking care, unoleasant, not welcoming - fe. on the question where to have dinner told restaurant sunday evening closed and will be difficult. Oposit was the true. We spent week travelling in Bretagne - this was by far the worst experience.

Perfect City break Hotel

The welcome from the Receptionist was so friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and the bed comfortable, bed linen was immaculate. Hard to believe an "Express" hotel could offer so much. All the Staff we met were exceptional. Breakfast had a good selection. Ideal Hotel for a City visit.

Really comfortable hotel in good location

Central,location with good parking options locally (hotel staff were very good at advising where to park for free). Very comfortable and clean room with everything you need provided. What was memorable was the breakfast… really lovely start to the day, with so much choice. Near shops and the sea front - great walk around the bay exploring this great area.There was a microwave available in the lobby area - a thoughtful touch.

Very convenient

Chosen due to it's easy drive from St. Malo and it's proximity to the WW2 submarine pens, the hotel didn't disappoint, being right opposite. Reception and check-in was excellent and we managed to park outside the hotel in a free parking zone. Room was clean and comfortable as would be expected from an IHG brand hotel. Good breakfast buffet. Need to head towards the sea front for life and restaurants - about 10 minutes easy walk.

Only stayed one night and it was perfect for what I needed. Car parking was great especially as I was travelling with a motorcycle.

Staff is incredible!! Especially Cecile. From before we arrived until the last minter were there, we felt like our family was their focus. Whatever we needed, they made happen. Best service ever! Breakfast not great. Poor selection. We were there about 8.30 and already had no sausage’s or anything savoury left. Sofa-bed very uneven, would have slept better if mattress would have been on the floor.

A very pleasant stay enhanced by exceptional staff.

The hotel is very well placed to see the places of interest in the town in particular the submarine bays and museums therein. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Getting out of the parking space was difficult for a large car as the exit is quite an acute angle.
