    I was told I'd be given a double room that's a lot larger with a much bigger bed for an additional GBP 30. What I got was a dingy, nightmarish room with a smell. The manager also took this money from me in cash and refused card. He said it would have cost me 95 but he's made me a good deal by taking just 30. I refused to stay at the hotel and moved to another excellent one down the road. I lost all my money here, naturally. But I'd choose my safety over this hell.

    No bag storage Could not open 1920's window (it was very hot in the room) Not a good place to stay, so much so that I have cancelled a room for September as you may know.
