Good for 1 night stay. Room was better with a sink and coffee. Could do an electric fan as to cope with heatwave.

Positives: a nice single en-suite… the bathroom is a pod actually in the room but everything you need.. towel, coffee, tea, milk, kettle, fan, oil radiator… ideal for a city stopover as very near the tube and major sites. Also the shop next door opens late and also does luggage storage if you want to check out but spend that day sightseeing also. Very quiet at night surprisingly given location. Cheap and cheerful but adequate
Negatives: lots of stairs (5 sets to my top floor room) and very narrow. I had a carry on small type of case and rucksack but anything larger would be challenging given width and number of stairs.
The bed was very old and worn out - springs could be felt through it so I didn’t have the best nights rest. A simple fix but would make all the difference (I did tell the gentleman on reception in the morning about this… I hope they change it as folk won’t return if not)…,
All in all a great budget option in the heart of London - just expect basic and clean… nothing fancy but more than adequate.
