Overall a pleasant stay, would definitely go back and would recommend to others.

Very cosy, comfortable stay. Very relaxing . Good location for the centre of Skipton.

The shower didn't work correctly it was boiling hot after a few minutes, and you couldn't turn down the temp. Very, very slow Internet impossible to stream anything.

Lovely place, let down by poor cleaning

The cottage is really lovely – full of character and well equipped. The areas people tend to use most looked clean.

But overall, the place wasn’t properly cleaned. With a 4pm check-in, you’d expect everything to be spotless, but that wasn’t the case. There were hairs all over the bathroom floor, especially around the toilet, and the toilet itself wasn’t clean. Also, most of the shelves – and the objects on them, including on the window sills – were dusty, with some odd black bits here and there, which gave the whole place a neglected feel. It felt like only the high-traffic areas had been wiped down, and the rest left untouched, which made the place feel neglected. There was also a strong chemical smell in the living room – maybe disinfectant (?!) – but it was so overpowering I couldn’t enjoy spending time there. It was more nauseating than reassuring. I’m allergic to dust mites and had to take antihistamines throughout the stay, but that didn’t stop me from sneezing constantly, which really affected my time there. Guests are only allowed in from 4pm, and we’re expected to leave by 10am – that should leave more than enough time for a proper clean. Sadly, the standard just didn’t match what’s expected.

Cosy cottage

Cottage was spotless, had all the facilities you needed. Location was perfect, 2 minute walk to the town centre. Parking was ideal, outside the back gate, never had a problem parking there. Comfortable, cosy cottage.

Good town centre location and convenient parking. Good bed linen. Good wifi. All kitchen and bathroom essentials were there.

Very poor pillows (much too hard). Not enough cutlery and crockery even for 2 people if you are using the dishwasher. Could have been cleaner. Late check in and early check out.

The cosy retreat

Everything about Little Pinfold exceeded expectations. Its a fabulous little cottage, spotlessly clean, well equiped, very comfortable and cosy. The cottage is located in ideal spot, within easy walking distance of the town and a super base from which to explore the surrounding areas. Corrie the owner was very helpful, friendly and made herself available on our arrival and phone. She arranged secure car parking spaces at a location nearby and offered help if required. Highly recommend Little Cottage if you looking for a wonderful break away.

A really calming and enjoyable break. lovely!

it was extremely cosy and slightly quirky. We just loved it. The multi fuel stove was on when we arrived which really added to the ambiance. Bring a bag of logs and look forward to a lovely break. We will return for more.

Beautiful little cottage perfect size for a couple

Perfect size cottage for two people, very clean and comfortable and only 2 minutes walk from the town centre with plenty of shops, pubs, restaurants and market stalls etc with plenty to see and do in Skipton. Beautiful woodland walks almost on the doorstep. Everything we needed was included with the option of a private parking space a short walk away, the owner lives across the road and was available should we need anything, kept in contact via phone informing us when the cottage was available etc. Wi-Fi and Sky TV is included. You can pull up outside the front door to drop suitcases etc.

You can expect road noise during the day as it is situated on a busy road but that drops off during the night, did not bother us at all
