The location was fabulous and the cottage spacious.

The back garden was not as secure as we would have liked, holidaying with children and a dog. We were not able to lock the back gate as another property had access through the cottage garden. A washing line would be handy.

Location - perfect as literally 5 min walk into the centre of Skipton Parking - was ok and if you cannot park outside you can park in a car park which is a 2 min walk away Size of property - was perfect as had 3 x bedrooms and 2 x bathrooms Comfortable - living area, bedrooms etc...were comfortable with plenty of home comforts Tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, water etc...were there for arrival Hosts - great at responding to questions including letting us arrive earlier than the check in time

Building smells musty probably due to the age and the drains on the first floor were a bit smelly (hence we left windows open for the duration) Could do with a little bit of TLC to make it a bit nicer as decor tired, furniture a bit old etc....

Location = close to town center, near Tesco supermarket and Morrison supermarket. Also short walk to railway station. Room = compact. Bathroom = consider okay, 2 rooms sharing one bathroom. Overall = Credit given to comfortable lounge and kitchen and easy access.

Kitchen can't accommodate 6pax, only 4 chairs and 1 stool available. Dining table is in basement area where one need to walk down from kitchen to basement, through steep and narrow staircase, not convenient. Washing machine at basement and inside a compact storage, inside storage room only washing machine available but not dryer, cos was packed with other stuff.
