It was all good except for the bed

The apartment was well located, secure, spotlessly clean and very well equipped.
The very warm welcome from Maria Teresa’s daughter and mother. The personal touches, the bowl of fruit on the table, the teabags in the kitchen and the sweets by the bed. The swift response from Maria Teresa to any queries.

clean comfortable apartment with a comfortable bed. great location between old town and the walk along the waterfront. Lift to the fifth floor flat (not to be taken for granted in European cities).
Parking was very expensive. We payed over 60 euro to park for 2 days a couple hours. The host did mention there was street parking and even offered to let me have her spot when she was ready to leave. However, I didn't see any spots when we got there and wanted to park the car to get out of traffic. In hind sight, I should have done what I normally do when traveling in Spain and booked my parking at a garage ahead of time.
