Lecco is a fantastic town by the lake and this is a great place to stay. It has 5 rooms and a communal lounge and large kitchen with all facilities, so would be amazing for a large family or group or friends staying several nights and not wanting to eat out every night. Our room overlooked the square and there was an orchestra playing on the night we were there which was a magical surprise. The hotel is right by the lake so we had a wander along there and ate in one of the nearby pizzerias on the square. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the square, and the kitchen had a much bigger balcony with tables and chairs. Great for a sundowner watching the world go by.

Check in was tricky. Not easy to find the right place to call at to get the owner / manager to let us in. A 'what 3 words' link to the exact door guests need to call at to ask for the manager, would be helpful as the directions were not clear.

The property was beautiful and the location for Lecco cannot be beat. Right on the centre of the square. The room was updated and clean, beds were very comfortable and the shared kitchen was lovely. It’s a bit odd trying to make food with other families around but it worked out fine and the kitchen and shared living space is modern and updated. The Frigerio restaurant associated with the property was really, really good. The chicken Caesar sandwich was a nice break from pasta/pizza and so fresh and unlike anything we have at home.

Our room overlooked the lake which was a beautiful view but it’s right above a tabbacheria machine which meant a steady stream of kids and people hanging out right there.
