An absolute gem. SSH don’t tell too many people

Such a wonderful welcome. Boutique quiet, welcoming and comfortable. This boutique accommodation converted an old convent into fresh bright very comfortable and quiet accommodation. Walking distance, 400m, from the station and around the corner from the lake, a fabulous local bakery and friendly local drinking venue near the gardens.

Warm welcome and lovely stay!

We loved the location and friendly welcome. We stayed in a spacious apartment and found it to be clean and tidy. The location is fantastic - really close to the ferry, train and bars/cafes/restaurants. We would definitely return to Mandello.

The shower was hard to control. It wouldn’t put us off returning.

A very relaxing and peaceful stay at this family owned b and b.

The friendly staff are very helpful and kind. The location is in the old part of town which is very charming and close to the beach and ferry. The restaurant serves excellent food for dinner and the breakfast choices are very fresh and healthy.

I prefer proper drinking glasses in the room not plastic cups.

Charming place by the lake with good connections

We had a truly nice stay at this cosy hotel, full of historical character and set in a peaceful, quiet town by the lake. The location is perfect—not only serene and relaxing, but also well-connected by train and ferry. A special thanks to all the staff, especially at the reception, who were incredibly helpful with tips and recommendations. Everyone was kind and genuinely cared about the guests, which made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was of high quality with a great variety, and the hotel restaurant served delicious food—I highly recommend trying it! All in all, a wonderful place to relax and a great base for visiting many nearby attractions.

A fantastic stay at the Como Lake

We had a wonderful stay here. When we arrived something was wrong with our initial room and they were so kind about it and gave us a free upgrade. The location was amazing and the food in the restaurant is very good. The best ravioli I ever had! The breakfast that was included was also great. We just felt so welcome and so well taken care of, the whole staff is so kind and warm. We will definitely come back here! 10/10 would recommend.

Very cute room decorations, delicious breakfast, staff were extremely helpful. I was lucky to visit during wisteria season which was gorgeous. A lovely area to place yourself if you want to be close to Varenna without the crowds and high prices

Great location, I chose the area for lower cost of accommodation and easy access to train station. This place was comfortable with a great breakfast and the walk around the town is amazing.

Wonderful Mamma Ciccia

Absolutely wonderful and quaint. The bistro that is associated with the rooms offered wonderful food and the prices were very reasonable. The rooms were comfortable and there was a lounge area where we could sit and drink a coffee. Highly recommended.

Exceptional

The hotel was located right in the centre of town, making it idea to explore the surroundings. The room was excellent and had everything I needed for my stay. I was also allowed to book garage space for my motorcycle and was guided to the garage.
