About this house rental
This is a newer construction home. **FIBER INTERNET** YOUTUBE TV Great care has been taken to make sure you will enjoy your stay including all white linens , granite throughout, hardwood floors on the 1st level, tile floors in bathrooms and walkout basement, 10' ceilings in the basement, the warmth of carpet in the upstairs bedrooms and well-outfitted premium kitchen.
There is also a hot tub on the bottom deck and a fire pit behind the house.
While the house is lake front, there is no access to a dock. The Corps of Engineers does not allow renters to access shared docks. We have been granted a path to the lake from the corps. Also, this home is approximately 4 miles from Moutardier Marina where you can rent boats, jet skis, and boat slips. There is also launching access there and near the dam which is only a few miles away.

We stayed here with our four adult kids and their spouses. It was a relaxing, lovely location. The kitchen was well stocked—lots of pots and pans and dishes. Everyone loved the hot tub and the abundant space to spread out in on the inside. We drove to Mammoth and did tours on two days—the drive was 35 minutes to the visitor center. This area is not close to any major grocery stores—so be sure to think ahead if you are planning to cook there! There is a Walmart to the north of the cabin—about 25-30 minutes—in the opposite direction of Mammoth Cave.The owner was wonderful—very responsive when we had questions. We would go back!!

We booked based on a recommendation of a friend/former guest at the property. The location was great for our Mammoth Cave fall break adventure. Although most of our stay in Kentucky was spent outdoors, we appreciated having a clean, comfortable and well appointed place to come back to for the evening. We definitely enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. We found the beds and pillows to be really comfortable, which doesn’t always happen at a vacation rental. Highly recommend!

House was very clean and quiet location. Only issues was the lock on the front door and main floor toilet. Otherwise beautiful location and both PJs cafe and PJs roadhouse were close and delish. Enjoyed our stay and loved all the caves nearby!
