About this cottage rental
It is a full rental rural house located in Bernuy de Porreros, just 7 km from Segovia and one hour from Madrid.
It is an old rural house transformed into a barn in the sixties that has been restored respecting its original structure, turning the stables into living room and the barn into rooms and bathrooms. It has a typically Segovian construction, in which wooden beams, stone walls and mud floors stand out.
It has a beautiful garden with barbecue, with access from the living room and kitchen. All the facilities of the house are located on the ground floor. The house has a capacity for 7 people, distributed in 3 bedrooms, two of them with double bed and one with two beds and possibility of putting an extra. Two bathrooms, one in the master bedroom and one in the hallway, which share the other two rooms. An independent kitchen with access to the garden and with everything you need for your stay.
The jewel of the house is the dining room, very spacious and cozy with a French fireplace and a table or reading area.
The whole house keeps the charm of a town house and all the comforts that are required to make the stay unforgettable.

The larger of two adjoining properties that can be rented singly or together, catering for "Cheaper by the ten" groups, Tricky to find, but worth the seeking. Bakers around the corner. Convenient for Segovia.

Desde el contacto inicial con Alicia, el recibimiento de Eva y la casa, todo pueden ser buenos comentarios. A un paso de Segovia confortable, limpio, equipado, las camas comodosimas y el salón encantador

Hemos estado este fin de semana disfrutando de la casa y su entorno.
La casa está muy bien: las camas muy cómodas, el salón enorme, muy bien equipada, y muy limpia. Por la noche no se oye nada, una zona muy tranquila. Desde luego no te lo recomiendo si quieres vida nocturna, pero si lo que quieres es tranquilidad, este es tu sitio.
Hay una panadería al lado que no debéis dejar de visitar: los cruasanes y las magdalenas buenísimas, compramos para desayunar el domingo, y el domingo volvimos a comprar para llevarnos.
Además está muy cerca de Segovia capital. Te plantas en el parking del acueducto en menos de 15 minutos.
La lástima es que el tiempo no ha acompañado para poder disfrutar del jardín tan estupendo que tiene. Eso sí, hemos comprobado que la calefacción funciona a las mil maravillas.
Mayte nos atendió muy bien, explicándonos todo y dando confianza para que la llamáramos si teníamos cualquier contratiempo, pero no nos hizo falta.
En resumen un sitio estupendo para alojarte si quieres visitar Segovia, La Granja y alrededores.

Acabamos de regresar de un fin de semana con los amigos en El Pajar. La casa en si misma está muy bien, el salón comodisimo, y el jardín perfecto, ideal para disfrutar si hace buen tiempo. En cuanto a la limpieza, deja bastante que desear.... tuvimos que comprar un desengrasante para poder limpiar y usar la barbacoa, la nevera estaba bastante sucia por dentro... y creemos que una nevera limpia es fundamental. Por otro lado, deberían mejorar el equipamiento en cuanto a vajilla, vasos, etc... bastante viejos en general, juegos incompletos, etc.. Mejorando estás dos cosas (limpieza y equipamiento) sería una casa perfecta.
