The food was amazing hosts were super nice. Would definitely stay again

Everything about the hotel was okay beds were really comfy, however this is soon cancelled out by the rooster that wakes you up at 5am as the chicken pen is right next to all the rooms and it continuously clucks until about 9am. Not the place to stay if you need a good rest after the hike

The guest and her family are very attentive. Nice view. Well located. Breakfast is varied and plenty, she even let me take some leftovers for lunch and shared some with a young couple that were short of cash as well. Cash is king in a land of no ATMs, bring sufficient. At the end Jason Statham look alike dude drove me back to Mestia while the stereo played svan tunes.

Decent location on upper part of Ushguli. Adequate facilities on a par with others in the area I guess. Good hot water in very tired shared bathroom. Voluminous supper and breakfast.

Noisy rooms at rear made it very hard to sleep, very sunken mattress and peeling wallpaper didn’t add to the experience. Loud (drunk?) singers in nearby guesthouse until 2am weren’t the host’s fault, but flapping plastic tarpaulin all night on an unfinished extension and cockerel crowing at 4am onwards definitely were! Hosts only slightly helpful in trying to find shared taxi option in the morning (and were annoyed when we found a couple to share vehicle with from nearby guesthouse).
