Former Rembrandt workshop two bedroom B&B

The pictures you see is exactly what you get. It’s a charming apartment — well-appointed, clean, beautiful. Everything is thoughtfully prepared and laid out for guests - from the kitchen to the bathrooms, like the whole user experience was carefully thought through. The location of the apartment alone is probably enough to convince people to book this place, situated in one of the prettiest parts of Amsterdam, right by the Bloemgracht canal on one side and right across the other side is the Anne Frank House. You can easily spend an afternoon just watching boats and people stroll along the canals. As for the hosts? I’d say they were the type of hosts I wish I’d encounter every time I book a B&B. Neil & Jonathan were beyond amazing. Proactive, very, very easy to communicate with and responsive. Neil was kind enough to meet me and provide me with more details about the apartment and the neighborhood. I have nothing but praise for Neil and Jonathan. Nothing really, (I’d say the stairs but this is most places in Amsterdam, plus the apartment is recognized as a historical building therefore changing things is hard to do)

The place was exactly as advertised. Beautifully appointed. The hosts Neil and Jonathan thought of every detail...multiple converters, coffee, starter wine and cream, beautiful soaps and lotions. The bed were so lush. They anticipated every traveler's needs!"It was an absolute delight to return after our days' adventures. We did not want to leave.

Absolutely nothing. The place was perfect! I will add...Amsterdam is a huge city. This location was very close to what we called the Anne Frank district. It was walkable to most popular attractions we were interested in. So, the location totally worked for us, but may be something to investigate depending on what you're looking for.

Die Lage des Appartments ist perfekt: man wohnt mit romantischem Blick über die Gracht auf das Anne-Frank-Haus sehr zentral. Das denkmalgeschützte Haus ist modern und hochwertig restauriert - insbesondere die Bäder entsprechen gehobenem Niveau; man spürt überall in Details die liebevolle Hand der Gastgeber, was es einem leicht macht, sich wohl und zu Hause zu fühlen. Die Betten sind mega groß und bequem, so dass man wirklich gut schläft. Die Glocken der nahegelegenen Westerkerk tragen zu dem tollen Gesamtpaket nochmals bei. Nachts ist es erstaunlich ruhig.In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich eine Vielzahl von Restaurants und Bars, die von early breakfast bis last dinner alles bieten und für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. Wie in der Beschreibung aufgeführt, ist die Wohnung nicht behindertengerecht wegen steiler Treppen. Wir haben drei wunderbare entspannte Tage in Amsterdam verlebt und die Wohnung hat zu dieser schönen Erinnerung sicherlich ihren Anteil beigetragen.
