A great find for a city break.

The apartment is very conveniently located opposite the town hall and just a minute walk to the cathedral. On the far side of the cathedral is a square with many cafes and restaurants. So super close. The parking is also very easy with paying street parking and also a 4 level “Parking Cathedral” a two minute walk away. Always plenty of spaces. The apartment itself is on the third floor, so stairs to climb but not a big issue. Inside is lovely and there is everything that you would want for a city stay. The bathroom is very modern with lovely big fluffy towels. Great shower in a large cubicle. Toiletries are provided. Also a very good hairdryer. The kitchen is a small galley with fridge/freezer, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, Nespresso machine and kettle with complimentary coffee pods and tea bags. We didn’t cook but there was everything you would need to cook and eat a meal. The bedroom was small but adequate with a very comfy large bed. Great linen with thick duvet. We didn’t need the duvet so just used the cover as a sheet. The living room was very pleasant with a comfy sofa, round table and chairs and large TV. All in all an excellent two night stay in Clermont Ferrand.

The property was as expected. There is no lift to the 3rd floor on which it is situated. No shocks - no surprises.

It was in the old part of the city which made access very easy to that area.

It would have been nice to have a teapot to go with the nice selection of teas. A couple of clothes hooks in the bathroom would make life easier. The door lock on the bathroom door needs to be repaired so that it closes and locks correctly.

Fotunately we are fit pensioners so were able to manage the climb up to the third floor landing. Not suitable for anyone with heavy luggage.

Great location

The property is quite literally a stone’s throw from the impressive cathedral. It’s up several flights of stairs with no lift, so be warned if you have mobility issues, or you have huge heavy bags. The property is a lovely little apartment with everything you need for a short or longer stay. There are lots of places to eat close by, but if you fancy cooking for yourself the kitchen is well equipped. Our hosts met us to help us get settled in and they are very friendly and helpful. There’s public car parking close by and the city itself has lots of character and plenty to do and see.
