The location and friendly staff
Being in a room right need to the construction, there was a mouse trap and mouse noises under the bed at night, the plug in the bathroom was faulty (half attatched to the wall)

The adjoining pub and restaurant was good and the food excellent also experienced friendly waiting on staff.
Room looked out onto a wall so was both dated and dingy. The housekeeping staff worked from the most chaotic room I have ever seen and they were all very young and couldn’t answer the most simplest of questions. We were on a bike journey and there was no under cover storage for bicycles, luckily it didn’t rain.
