    Friendly staff, great food. Looks like renovations are starting, so should improve facilities Location of PowerPoint's in rooms was not very friendly. Overall good place for short stay

    Noone has ever noped out of a place faster than I noped out of the Gladstone Grand Hotel. This place is straight out of a horror movie - it’s in a musty old decrepit building that’s quite literally falling apart. Think broken windows, peeling wallpaper like leprotic strips of dead skin, and a single flickering lightbulb swinging from the ceiling. There are actual gaping holes in the walls that have been (poorly) boarded up - it was not clear whether something has been trying to get in, or trying to claw its way out. I’ve stayed in some questionable places before, granted, but this is the first time I’ve checked into a building that seems to be actively surrendering, begging to be put out of its damp misery. The Gladstone Hotel is where dreams and, I suspect, other things go to die. Nothing good has happened here in decades. The name itself is a double lie - this hotel is neither Grand nor Glad. Do not come to this evil place. Stay away. Keep driving. Sleep in your car. Sleep in a field. Just do not step foot in this horror show. You have been warned.
