Villa Binz - Apt. 02

Though I expected it to feel more cramped, the apartment actually felt roomier! It was very comfortable, the big kitchen was well-supplied and nicely taken care of, small touches were greatly appreciated- little hand fans, many hooks in the bathroom, plenty of spots to keep items/shelving, a free lovely bottle of wine!, beach chairs, a few games and books available, etc. Though, despite having many clothing hangers, I would have appreciated a drying rack for damp clothing/towels after coming from the beach ;) The couch was comfortable and so were the armchairs. The decorations were tasteful, and it was very clean. It was right in the middle of the city but not over the restaurants which was perfect because it was very quiet at night. The place also stayed very cool despite the heat! The layout of the apartment was quirky, with an extra window between living room and bedroom - this was cute.

The bathroom window opens into the stairwell, so there is no fresh air in the bathroom and no way to let steam out from the shower etc. The kitchen is so big I think it would have been much nicer to have a table or a breakfast nook inside the kitchen instead of the cleaning cabinet, which could be a corner of the living room instead. There were also only three table chairs for four people staying, though there were lots of seating in general :)
