Unique stay at traditional Slovenian house

Tanja greeted us with lovely snapps on arrival and put great effort in recommending places and activities despite the weather. The Pekovic have a lovely garden and the breakfast is above expectation.

Booking wasn't clear at first about shared bathroom, but there were multiple bathrooms available which made the experience trouble free.

The location is perfect for exploring Bohinj and the surrounding areas.

The hostess, Tanja, was wonderful, very kind, and even offered me a shot of homemade pear schnapps after my long drive. The room was very pleasant and comfortable.

It would have been nice to have a hairdryer. Also, the breakfast cost was advertised as $12, but I was surprised when I was charged $17.

Very friendly and open staff, perfect location

Very friendly staff, complete kitchen usage. Beautiful spot, with a very nice back garden. Bathroom was like home, very spacious and comfortable. Would recommend.

Kitchen was different from the pictures, but still usable. Our room was the small one with two single beds - it was unfortunately really small (tough we anticipated it from the pictures). So all in all we would recommend the place but not our room, the other rooms seemed much better.

Tanja was great! Even from the bus stop she pick me up because there was no bus at the time. She also gave amazing suggestions on what to do where to go. If I needed anything she was ready to help. The city is beautiful and I felt so welcoming that I will be going back

Incredibly welcoming hosts, stunning scenery, great value for money - can't recommend highly enough!

Wow, just wow. We were three friends travelling to Slovenia for the first time, and Tanja and her parents (and wonderful cats) made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. The location is second-to-none, just a 15 minute walk from Lake Bled but away from the tourist hustle and bustle. The hotel is surrounded by mountains and green meadows, the natural beauty and quiet make it the perfect base from which to explore the area and rest. The room was perfect and very good value for money, we also loved the daily breakfast with all regional produce. We stayed a week here and were so sad to leave at the end!! Hopefully we can come back in the future to experience beautiful Stara Fužina in the wintertime!

Couldn’t have been better exactly what I wished for!

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Good vibes there, very familiar atmosphere. Good mattress, you have all you need there you also can use the kitchen and it’s overall very cozy. Also a nice garden and lots of outdoor highlights nearby.

The hotel is in a beautiful place, quiet but charming. Walking distance from Lake Bohinj. The family who owns the hotel was very friendly and kind. They allowed us to use their own kitchen. The room was clean. Bathroom small but sufficient and clean. Delicious home made breakfast with various options.

Tanya gave such a nice and warm welcoming! She is well knowledgeable about the area, for hiking, day trips and any activity you plan to do, which was very helpful and appreciated. The room itself was clean, well maintained, with a comfortable bed and a shared kitchen which could be used if wanted. The shared washroom was kept clean and other guests respectful. The house is not far located from most activities and lake Bohinj, with a convenient shop and restaurant close by.

Perfect place to stay in close to Bohinj lake and Triglav hike trails!

We've spent 3 nights here, but were quite lucky as weather forecast expected heavy rains. In the end, it rained just during nights and we could spent some time around Bohinj lake to hike mountains in Triglav national park. Location is great, just 20m walk to the lake and tourist center, where you can rent a sport equipment. Area is great for doing lot of sport. If there would be rain, then facility provides quite large breakfast room for playing some games and garden to spend some time there. Breakfast were great, local cheese, ham, cakes :)

Our room very little bit narrow and angled due to attic, but that was expected from our side for the price.

Taina was really great host, she was very kind, she gave us excellent advice for the visit of the lake and the cascades. We spent 3 wonderful days there and plan to come back next year.

Great location at a very reasonable price

The host is very responsive and flexible, the welcome drink and conversation is a real treat. The rooms are clean and have a good size for a couple nights stay. The optional breakfast is a great value with nice assortment.

The shared bathroom is always a bit of a compromise - it did not bother us much, but be aware that the toilet and the shower are in the same room which you will share with other guests.

The room was small but very functional and clean. The host was really helpful, she gave us a lot of practical information about what to see in the closest neighbourhood and how to get there. We shared bathroom with one other room, but never during the stay did we have a negative experience with it.
