The place did not provide a breakfast but the landlord invited us to visit a nearby Cafe at his expense.
The place was a rustic old pub with all the charm expected.

Delightful. Staff very good, nice to see both owners, the rural structure of the building and the roaring fireplace
I don’t want to say too much, I think the breakfast could be better for what we had but it was nice.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful
The pub no longer does food which is a shame (however they are happy for you to take in your own food or a take-away, and they provide plate/cutlery); they also don't do cooked breakfast either which was a little disappointing

Handy location to use as a base
No parking and the shower was broken, apparently for some time when we asked about it
