Too hot at night to sleep in upper bedroom need windows open but very close to pond so get lots of insects ,needs ceiling fans in bedroom esp in mezzanine bedroom. Just a bit dated in general but a pleasant stay and well equipped kitchen.

Second stay, again perfect. I had to mention again Schlossalee Biergarten with 3200 places (!!) 10 only minutes by walk, but there is also a nice natural pool again approximatelly 15 minutes (perfect for hot days), and in evening you can enjoy movie on projection screen together with perfect WiFi.

We really enjoyed our stay. It is hard to find such a nice place for this many people. There is plenty of space in the garden as well as in the house to relax, play games, BBQ etc. If you are more then eight people there will be mattresses on the floor in the sleeping rooms but they were really comfortable.
The owner was really nice and we were in good communication. We asked the owner if it is possible to stay a little longer the next day and as there were no other guests he was OK with it. We really appreciate this. Maybe he had some bad experience in the past, because there are really detailed house rules with penalties for almost everything. To be honest especially when you are with a big group this can make you a little nervous.
